- I perform the Bornless Rite, adopted for the Samekh ritual and the Goetia from an ancient Greek exorcism rite. This is one of the rituals that can be used to contact one's Holy Guardian Angel.

Found that this ritual is one way to truly evoke your light within in a manner unlike any other. The last time I did this ritual my husband tried to take my blood pressure after, and it would not work. It was a trip! We left our house to go see if we could get my blood pressure on the machine at CVS and it still would not take my blood pressure! It’s off the charts! When you are saying the words in the ritual while reading them during your middle pillar, exercise, you can feel the energy. It helps me to say it in an old English voice.

Im studying ceremonial magic and this was one of the three rituals that was suggested. When you got to the last part I had my eyes closed and could see gold pentagrams with small circles at each point in my mind's eye.

Hi, very nice intonation. I would like to state that even the Bornless Rite mentions in a few sources the invocation of Pentagrams with their corresponding names, it would be nice seeing that. :)
Liber Samekh gets quite pedantic when it comes to the footnotes of all the instructions, but if there could be a visual performance of that, it would be awesome!

This ritual protects me. I was initiated 2010 into a pedigree of diviners in my bloodline and the elders are gone mostly so what we have is basically a free for all and I'm surviving it thanks to this very strong protection. I've tried everything believe me. Thank you again.

I enjoyed your Ascended Masters video, too. Are you familiar with the book Magia, or Alan Chapman and Duncan Barford? I heard them mention this ritual in a conversation about Crowley's awakenings (HGA realization) and how they came about. I really enjoy their work and have found Magia to be a very compelling teaching and practice. Anyway, looking forward to checking out your channel.

I find all this very fascinating, but I am too suspicious of Crowley to devote myself to it. It is just really hard getting around Crowley since his syncretic concotions have such an incredible span, offering such a great mobility between different spiritual worlds.
I am afraid I have to find another way of contacting the Holy Guardian, something without reference to Mr. Beast :D

I am recently reading books on Guiliano Kremmerz - too bad so much of it is only in Italian.
The Headless Rite on which the Bornless Ritual was based has its origin in the Greek Magical Papyri. There is also the Book of Abramelin for gaining Knowledge and Conversation. Both of those were adapted or used by Crowley, but they are pre-Crowley in origin
how dumb can one person be?
I have been studying magick for some time, probably around 10 years off and on, however Im no expert nor authority. I have recently came to the conclusion that I whole heartedly identify with the teachings of Thelema and Esoteric Magick. As someone who has roots and practices primarily in folk magick or what some would consider spell casting and witchcraft I am familiar with most Rites having requirements. Upon my readings I havent been able to find much on the Bornless/Headless one ritual. Are there any qualifications for the magician in order to do this rite such as fasting, setting, which way the room may face, etc? As well, can you just do the Bornless/Headless Ritual on its on without any pre or post ritual or words? Thank you.

Curious if you've been able to establish contact with your HGA. Been planning for the Dog days starting july 23rd after seeing a few others who have estabkished contact furing those times. Some planned it on purpose when others just so happened to establish communication on this day. Timothy leary specifically is of interest on this subject
Yes I have established contact using a variation of the Samekh ritual - there are some videos on that in this channel's 'Magick' playlist. If you are seeking contact with the HGA during the Dog Days, then you must be familiar with Robert Anton Wilson's work on Sirius! That is a very interesting rabbit hole in its own right. Perhaps a good topic for a future video

For the most part is just a recitation of an invocation, the sole purpose is that of conveying to oneself symbols, ideas and emotions. I'm sure someone could write an invocation as effective as this if not more.

The crystal is a selenite wand. I am using it mainly as a ceremonial wand rather than for the particular properties of the crystal. However, the crystal selenite is good for calm, clarity, spirituality and healing.

Ive seen ppl move to respective cardinal directions and draw a different invoking pentagram for each.
Then again, ive read at least 5 variations. Ask 10 occultists and all...

I have been getting bits and pieces of this rite in a dream. The results have been some eye opening conversations with elderly people in my life . I am a Theistic Satanist. I am also a Unitarian Universalist.
It is through fellowship with many different people from other backgrounds that I am learning about how Lucifer inspires the knowledge of his priesthoods.I have been working with the Goetic sigils for some time. I think I am about to get a new calling and a new sigil to do what I need to. Exciting times!

I have done serious work on the translation of this ritual into French, because I believe that this work has not been done anywhere, at least, I have not found it on the internet. Quite often the magician will substitute Ank-af-na-Khonsu or Mosheh for their own magickal name (See Point II Section Aa of Liber Samekh). As for your other question - the Bornless Ritual was adapted from the earlier Headless Ritual

Yes, I have used it (although I haven't worked with the Goetia for a long time now) and found it quite accessible. The introduction was good, as was the breakdown of the different planetary metal and zodiacal decan attributed to each spirit

It is originally ancient Greek in origin with Israelite and Egyptian influence. It calls on the 'Bornless One', the summit of divinity that is the 'terrible and invisible god'. As the invocation progresses, the invoker gradually becomes personally identified with that very divinity. In the Golden Dawn and Thelema it is used to contact one's Holy Guardian Angel (HGA) - I have done a few videos explaining what the HGA is in greater detail

What method do you use to memorize these rituals?
A lot of repetition and reciting. Remembering one chunk at a time and then adding on a little more. Making associations with and between words also helps with remembering. But the most important thing for memorising rituals like this is consistent practice

I would recommend banishing before and after (lesser banishing ritul of the pentagram and lesser banishing ritual of the hexagram) for this version of the Bornless Ritual

Osorronophris (from the original Golden Dawn version of the Bornless Ritual) apparently derives from the Egyptian 'Asar-un-Nefer' translated into ancient Greek. It means 'Osiris the Beautiful'.

Where does the name bornless come from?
It comes from the Hermetic Order of the Golden, who adapted the Bornless Ritual from a much older a Greco-Egyptian spell. In the original spell the 'bornless one' was instead called the 'headless one'

In this video I used Oil of Abramelin made according to the recipe in Samuel Mathers' translation of the Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. However, in many rituals of this type I will use the holy anointing oil described in Exodus 30:22-26. The two oils are almost identical; the main difference is the substitution of calamus for galangal root in Mathers' recipe.
