    I bought a few of these from IW over the last 2 years. I remember there was a time they were always sold out. Now everybody has them in stock. I wish rollerblading would take off again like it did during COVID. Even the rb pro x are fully in stock and those would be sold out in a new York minute

      Us too! But without Covid being the reason of course. Still really popular. All of the delays at the ports over the last couple of years have a lot of stuff showing up all at once so inventory is fairly strong. Combine with sales slowing from pandemic levels where choices were limited and you have what you see now. Thanks for skating and for watching!

    I've only been in the Microblade models the 84abt 90 and 100 3wd. I'm really interested in that hard boot. I need more torque for going up hills. I'm thinking the hard boot will make a major difference.

    I couldn't find the right size for me so the shop worker gave me to try a female model and they were pretty comfortable, but from your comparison, I see that the woman ones are a bit shorter and a bit narrow so I just wanna know if I will get any performance issues if I chose the woman ones

    • @rollingiw
      @rollingiw  Год назад

      No. The more snug the fit, the better response you will get from the skate. So as long as comfortable, it will add performance rather than take away. Thanks.

    How do the Twister 110s compare to the MAXXUM Edge 125s?

    • @stanchaves5366
      @stanchaves5366 2 года назад +2

      15mm wheel difference to start, but frames and wheels and be changed. The boots are quite a bit different. The Twister is a more focused urban freestyle skate with no vents (one on the bottom of the skate) to be rigid and responsive. Aluminum frame mounting blocks, have a snugger fit although the dual sizing makes them much more friendly than in past years. The Maxxum boots are hybrid urban/cross-training skates. A lot more ventilation and a little more forgiving in fit, but a versatile skate, and at 125mm you got great top-end speed. The 110mm wheel size is more maneuverable, but again wheels and frames are able to be changed when wanted. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching InlineWarehouse.com

      @@stanchaves5366 Thanks so much for that great info! I think I'll go with the Maxxum's then. Going to be used just for exercise and straight paths in my neighborhood. My main concern was the fit. I have a bit of a wide foot and I'd read that Rollerblade's boots tend to run narrow/standard so I'd need something a little more forgiving. Thinking I'll order some 110s if the 125s prove to be too rigid in their maneuverability.

      @@Fygee Not so much anymore as far as small. The Twister and Maxxum 2020 and 2021 were definitely small, but the 2022 versions for both are completely different molds and also have the sizer to go under the footbed, so you see 9.0-9.5, etc..for each. So if you are a whole size (9, 10, 11, etc...) you likely can just get your shoe size. If a .5 size (9.5, 10.5, 11.5) you may/may not have an issue, but just remember the liners will break in and free up a little room. So snug is good. If getting to where they are loose and then break in to be too big/sloppy that isn't good. You don't need as much room in the toe as you do shoes as you are going to side to side and not front to back, so a snug fit within comfort level is best for best response from the skate. @@stanchaves5366 Sounds good. I normally wear a 12.5w but sometimes a 13 if it's narrow. Appreciate all that great info again! Looking forward to ordering from your store.

      @@r0cket626 yes i got them, it fitted just perfect snug fit, for the first time no numb feets, much better confortable fit and feel than my FRs, i didnt have to size up. On my first session i did felt lots of disconfort on both arches, swap out the stock insoles with superfeets and instantly relueve arche pain on both feets and the ankle pain went away after 4th sessions. So far this are the most confortable hard plastic skates for my wide feets anything else are too narrow.

    why they sound like walking on fresh snow?

    • @rollingiw
      @rollingiw  Год назад

      Sounds like a bearing spacer issue if you are hearing cracking. Try moving your bearing spacers around to different wheels. Slight variances being off can affect spin or create a noise. Check out this article: www.inlinewarehouse.com/How_to_Fix_Wheel_Spinning_and_Clicking_Issues/catpage-FREESPINLC.html

    • @iskatoysen
      @iskatoysen Год назад

      @@rollingiw that sound goes from inside the boot, two surfaces of boot's plastic and liner's fabric being in friction with each other produce quite noticeable sounds of "frosty freshness". wheels and bearings are fine.

    • @rollingiw
      @rollingiw  Год назад +1

      @@iskatoysen "frosty freshness"...That's good. They/we should use that to describe them. I'll be meeting with RB next week and will bring it up. They have 'modified' the fit/shell over the years so they may know already. The first generation was thought to get on/off and that is much better. But this may be an issue with a particular size I don'tknow. I'll try to circle back if I learn anything from them. Thanks for watching!
