The fun thing with shintanis style is that when the scenes are more relaxed and funny it has a cartoonish style that makes you feel somewhat at home with the original dragon ball series but the intense fighting scenes have complex shading and bright colors and bold lining which sets the mood

@@MangekyouZen actually the both gokus he drew are from frames from the anime, dbs is less detailed but I like both
because the only difference between both art styles is the detail. When they changed the art style the animation got a bit better (I mean DBS broly)
in the dbs movie: As you can see, it is usually drawn in a relaxed manner
but In combat it far surpasses that of dbz 👍

And dbz and dbs are same it's just that he draw on dbs was shintai from dbs super broly if u see the dbs anime it's detailed
Waanted to let you know real quick that this is the shintani style used in DBS:Broly. It looks like this during relaxing scenes but when the scenes get tense, they increase the detail and make everyone look buffer
Its on purpose in the dbs its for a comedic scene
