It’s gotta be Coleman -> Kerley -> Bednarek -> Lyles. Knighton hasn’t raced enough this year, and everyone in this relay is faster than him in the 100.

Yes and Coleman has no individual races so he needs to run heats and final on first leg. Kerley is only running the 100m so he needs to stay on second leg for the heats and final. They should use Lindsey on third leg in the heats. Someone needs to run anchor in the heats. I would put Kerley on anchor for the heats, but the USA team needs to stay where they're going to run in the final so its much better to have Coleman and Kerley on the first two legs for the heats and finals.

Outside of the obvious things, like Coleman being the best starter:
    1. 2nd leg is the longest leg. There’s a reason Fred didn’t run 200 this year. Noah tied the WR for the 150m this year.
    2. Kenny is a 200m specialist, so let him run the curve.
    3. Kerley is under-raced and still ran 9.88 at the trials. He’s only running the 100 and will be fresh for the relay. He’s a strong, powerful runner who can close well.
    4. Yes, Knighton can run the curve, but is even more under-raced than Kerley, does not have 100m speed like the others, and shouldn’t be rewarded with what he was involved in this year.

    3. Kenny
    4. Noah
Coleman is the best starter (maybe ever), and he and Lindsay have time to practice/perfect the 1-2 exchange. They can take a lot of risk and stretch that handoff zone to the max. WR potential imo

I would switch Lindsay and Kenny if you go that route.

Fred should definitely be on the relay. knighting can’t hang with him in the 100 IJS. Jamaica taking it regardless.

US team is way too strong to be beat, besides bad exchanges. Jamaica has 2 elite runners, USA has 4.

I’ll be back to say I told you so. Jamaica has the two fastest out there. Jamaican’s third fastest is a 9.8 runner too. Then Lavell is in PB shape. Btw non of the Jamaicans are peaking.
