- In short, Serena Williams is one of the best in the sport. Her record indicates that she may be one of the best female tennis players of all time. But outside of tennis, is she a good role model?

i watched naomi vs serena live and it made me a naomi fan instantly. while serena is the best female tennis player (given her dominance in an era where competition is tougher and the number of grand slams she has), her character is incredibly controversial and arrogant. compare her to roger, novak, or rafael and you'll see the difference
the thing is, naomi really started going downhill from there. she started fighting against her coach and her motivation in general went down. don't know if 2018 tournament was a cause of it
She isn't the best ever. Steffi Graf is.
@@PravoslavniVitez i honestly don't know. serena has the most gland slams in an era where the competition is tougher than ever. she is an incredibly strong player too. i love stefi graf but i don't think she is better. if you're talking about the best person ever, then maybe stefi graf.
@@jawadalam4409 How is Serena's competition tougher? Steffi played 13 Slam finals against Evert, Navratilova and Seles, all three of which are top 10 all time greats. She also played against Sanchez Vicario, Sabatini, Novotna, Hingis, Davenport, Capriati, Pierce and others.
Serena never played a single final against an all time great and won 15 Slams post 2008 beating players like Zvonareva, Safina, Radwanska, Wozniacki, Jankovic, Muguruza, Safarova in Slam finals. Her main rival in the last decade was Azarenka, lol.
@@PravoslavniVitez actually, i think i change my mind. steffi is a much more rounded player who i think has won more single titles than serena. im pretty sure serena has more double titles tho. but with the close grand slam titles they both have, steffi is better

Tbh my role model is probably you the mix between being knowledgeable doing research on stuff and making high quality well done videos and between being some guy that's old but still plays minecraft il probably mainly do politics and other stuff as my knowledge part

It sure looked like coaching, but her reaction is how an innocent person would react. Especially of highly competitive people. All in all, she didn't act like a role model
Hey ish your videos are great, I love your critical thinking. Hopefully it inspires others to be informed before taking a stand on certain issues.
I dislike celebrity culture because celebrities are worshiped/put on a pedestal by most "commoners". It's scary how aggressive and entitled she got. Her saying Mr. Ramos would never be on one of her matches again was a threat. She knows how much power and influence she has. She was determined to get him fired with her false accusations of him. Thankfully the tennis officials did not let the public opinion influence their investigation.

Short answer: No. She is a terrible person and role model.
Steffi Graf is the greatest female tennis player of all time and she is the epitome of beauty, class, grace and elegance. She is the perfect role model.

Did you take in to account how many men play tennis compared to women?
100%. I also took into account the fact that men play Best of 5 Sets while women play Best of 3 Sets, but even when controlling for these facts, men had still committed many more offenses than women. I was considering adding this in the video, and maybe I should have, but it was already quite a long video + the new findings wouldn't have changed the ultimate result that there was no gender bias.
