It’s the B side of the self titled album, these songs (besides the covers) were songs that didn’t make the cut for the self titled album. Many labels and bands put these out because they’re already recorded and it’s extra content for the fans. Quick easy money for them. Still an amazing album there are actually songs on diamonds that I wish were on the actual self titled but then again I think that album is damn near perfect.

This song is about the record label and how they’re just dead inside, there’s no life or personality to people in the business and this is them watching them while at after parties or label parties.

The song is veiled in it's meaning because it's about the stagnation within the rock & metal subdivisions of the music industry. Calling out the industry's failures to find and develop new acts for the future. Within the rock and metal community, there has been a long held belief that the reason hip hop and pop music overtook rock in popularity during the early 2000s was a result of the archaic methods labels use to discover new acts.
Unknown bands are the lifeblood of the genre. Without it, you wither and die. Where rap, pop, and country adjusted their recruiting strategies at finding new acts by combing the Earth to find them wherever they may be, rock & metal stuck to it's outdated methodology of only considering unknown bands who:
*•* Came up in the historical bar & club scenes of Los Angeles, New York, or London
*•* Could draw a crowd (mostly composed of their friends and locals who were going to be at that bar/club on weekends regardless no matter who's playing) to some dive bar instead of being able to write innovate new music
*•* Were trained to be cautious of the wrong types of red flags- I.E., drug and alcohol use within the band while overlooking other liabilities. In particular, overlooking if they've been together for a while and are a close knit and cohesive unit, or if they were recently put together by a flyer or classified ad.
This is very important to consider also because each member may have different tastes in the type of music they want to create. You can easily stitch together a band out of the best 4 or 5 instrumentalists in the local underground scene, but they will oftentimes implode and disband after 1 or 2 albums because they either hate some of the others on a personal level, or hate what they're bringing to the studio each day to write and record.
It's sooooo much easier to become a rap, pop, or country artist because it only takes one person to determine their fate. You alone is all that's needed to be discovered. In rock, your fate is just as dependent on everyone else in the group as it is on you. Rappers and pop stars only have to do one thing- sing or rap. In rock, you have to devote years to learning an instrument before you can even get started.
It's also easier to motivate a kid to become a rapper when he looks at his screen and sees sexy women and cash raining from the ceiling. To a rebellious teenager, that's what you want in your life. Conversely, when you see a music video for a rock or metal artist, you're mostly seeing guys who look sad or angry in a music video that requires a film student to explain to you. If you're not properly motivated to play rock music, you're not going to invest years into learning an instrument.
It's not easy for rockers these days. The other genres have so many more advantages over it currently.

It may be because I watched a fan-made video that I have a different interpretation of the lyrics. I think they're talking about people who have been warned about their lifestyle choices, but they continue to party and lead a life without morals. These partygoers are lured to a party where they become the dancing dead, partying in the room that will become their grave.
Or, it could be about the party hosts being vampires, as this was intended to be a Halloween party song. There are a lot of possible interpretations.
