Åhman was born worldclass, but it's nice to see the development of Hellvig in the past year.
Hellvig is equally if not better. Unreal passning and blocking, very underrated

@@travisbrown2149 yeah true. They probly just need more experience, but I do feel like benesh needs to be more of a threat at blocking, especially against top teams.
David/Jonatan are extremely fun to watch. They revolutionized how beach volleyball is played.🔥💪🏻🇸🇪

Volei dos suecos está num nível acima. Não tem como ganhar deles, são muito técnicos e tudo dar certo pra eles rsrs A briga de fato será pelo segundo e terceiro lugar em Paris.
Só uma coisinha, quando você "briga" pelo segundo lugar, você está jogando para perder. Segundo lugar é do que perde o último jogo.

George e andre estão de parabéns, a dupla da Suiça é realmente difícil de bater, parece que tudo que eles tentam fazer dá certo

David and Jonatan could easily continue like this for another decade. The question is what is going to be the formula to stop them. A mobile, athletic blocker and a quick defender who excels in transition may be good guesses. Since this also describes them, any answer to Åhman and Hellvig could be modelled after Åhman and Hellvig.
Mol and Sørum are the best bet but they seem to be struggling physically.

They are, which makes their performances even more impressive. To still be among the top-5 with both players ailing says a lot about their ceiling. When healthy, I think they are still the best team in the world.

the camera work this game was actually quite cool
all the ingredients are there, the f*** Beatles of the modern beach volleyball: the fastest attacker of the the last 20 years and a solid and mature blocker settling like indoor¡¡ and the most important, They are different because they are having much more fun than anyone on the court. Came on guys, the vikings were incredible but they have been doing the same beach volley from the last 30 years¡ these guys bring fresh air to this sport¡ let's all enjoy until theirs knees can afford it¡¡¡
Ahman's dig and hit at 9:06 is on another level. Even Andre who is a great blocker and was at the net wasn't in the air. Ahman's simply the best player of this era. And Hellvig also showing great skills, but get your line over the block working instead of always hitting angle on a line block.
It's all facilitated by hellvig. If you watch entire game you might agree with me that ahman was the weak link. Highlights don't tell the story
That play is teamwork, planning, and unreal agility and execution. Your idea that Ahman is “the weak link” is lol. They don’t have a weak link. Hellvig is excellent yet at times relies on his angle hit too much and occasionally gets roofed several times in a row.

George tava conseguindo virar bem, mas depois começaram a caçar o André e ele ficou umas 3 passagens sem virar. Deu pra ver a dupla sueca mais vulnerável, mas quem vai jogar contra eles precisa se impor, principalmente no saque.

is this the best team to ever do it?
Can we please go back to the side, down-the-net camera view? This angle does not show the velocity and excitement of volleyball, as the cameras can't pick up the depth of the ball.
The reason those Brazil team has been playing so well is sideout mentality consistency....they aren't the best athletes just very consistent

O único detalhe é que George/Andre já jogaram umas 4 finais cobtra os suecos e perderam todas.

Enquanto não jogar largando e valorizar a virada de bola quando fizer uma defesa usando a cabeça vai perder sempre. Os caras abrem 3 pontos e querem só atacar, não fazem jogada de primeira bola como eles e ainda sacam na mão dos caras que trabalham com primeira bola direto é ser muito inocente
Concordo Gil que não dá para jogar contra os suecos ou noruegueses focados apenas nas próprias qualidades. Há que jogar criando dificuldades no que os nórdicos tem mais dificuldade. O saque flutuante curto é uma opção, assim como o saque no fundo de quadra. Outro ponto é que o bloqueio de André que funciona bem com quase todas as duplas, deixa de ser efetivo contra os suecos. De qualquer modo, os suecos jogam em um nível, sobretudo pela capacidade física, que não é fácil usando todas as táticas a mão.

Por favor, quando o jogo for disputado de ponto a ponto, mostrem os 2 times virando o ponto. Não foi o caso. Estava 16 a 16, e vocês só mostravam os ataques dos suíços. Se estava empate mostrem 1 ponto de cada. Isso é lógico! 🤨🇧🇷
