"Magicraft" is a Roguelike game that uses a variety of spells to match unimaginable spell effects, and the construction of ultra-high degrees of freedom cannot even be exhausted by developers.

I watched this video all the way to the end. There was lots of magic, but not a single raft. What a disappointment.
The raft comes with the full release
you get the raft in the Deluxe edition as a figurine
Maybe the raft was the friends we made along the way.
You have to buy the raft as part of the Battle Pass Ultimate.
It will be released later as Raft DLC.
Looked really interesting, but that humor just isnt for me. Especially that last bit about being taken advantage of while sleeping : /. Good game, but wow that dialogue makes it a no no

Neat mechanics. Anime-brained writing is basically a total turnoff.
I wish you unlocked the bonus wands just through the run. Like getting one slot after each boss, and being able to purchase backpack slots from the store
Yep, completely agree. Having to grind to get... weapon slots? In a game about weapon customization? Meta-progression doesn't need to be shoehorned into every single game just because.
I hope the devs see this comment and reply and rethink their decision
@@Retromationgot the early access of the game today and feel like i understand it better. Some of the builds you can make makes it so the other wands you don’t directly use can fire by itself or have random chances of acctivating spells equiped on them when you fire with other wands, and made some ridiculously OP builds with that
feel like all the isekai references would get grating, but the game seems neat
Game loop looks fun but I don’t know if I’d actually enjoy it with this uh … “writing”
Seems like Noita x Tiny Rogues (small room layout and room branching). Definitely looks promising; always love flexible/creative ARPG systems.

Finally a fresh take on isaac.
This game seems like its fun and has lots of potential! But i definitely dont care for the music at all. Doesnt really seem to fit the vibe imo. The art is nice, but imo, comes off as a bit generic? Could use a little more unique style and details in the environment to kinda kick it up a notch.
I hate this "don't starve" art style I feel like it's being way over used and it seems lazy

Really liked the Magicraft Demo. Some combination are so weird. Also I got some very different upgrades during my playthrough.

I like the customization of the game, but the story bored me I was skipping it all when playing and almost didnt make it to gameplay when I tried. Wish there was non lol
Archvale and enter the gungeon are imo perfect ways to start a roguelite without much bs and straight to gameplay
Another example of fun/interesting mechanics bogged down by meaningless grind, poor ability descriptions, and terrible "humorous" story :/

It's officially in EA now with 3 longer/more fleshed out chapters and tons of fixes, hoping you pick it back up again soon, game is fantastic

the meta progression seems VERY Hades. We're dealing with literal god's blood, for example. The wizard girl is just the "mirror"
I don't see what you mean by strange dialogue. It is just a bunch of isekai tropes, pretty standard for the premise of the game and the characterization of the player character.
Yes, I understand that people who are accustomed to that content don't find some of it uncomfortable. An average player is going to be pretty turned off dialogue such as 23:30's.

Honestly makes me want to give the game a pass.
try to kill the troll face it turns into a nearly imposible boss fight but you can hurt him which makes me wonder if he can be killed
If I had to collect crystals I wouldnt even know where to put them. Like I dont have a backpack with me all the time
That boss was literally combination of two Binding of Isaac bosses. The Y-axis bullets are also very much taken from one of those bosses.
What spell and secrets fail to delivers 😅.

Not yet. I mean, technically you can use a controller... but your aim acts as a mouse cursor instead of immediately facing you in the direction you push the thumbstick.

Only seeing this video now, but this game looks fantastic! The problem I had with Noita wasn't learning the mechanics, but the fact that, for such a free and interesting spell-crafting system, you're severely limited in when and where you can use it. I think this game solves that almost entirely - wands are relatively hard to get; spells aren't; everything can be modified at any time.
The meta progression, ehhh. It's not particularly exciting, but it's not *too* grindy either, so it probably wouldn't change my opinion of the game by much. There's far worse meta-progression out there.

I am so conflicted by this video because you used one of the worst items from Binding of Isaac in tiny planet and it just kind of frustrated me watching you play but it's your gameplay lol
and yet it worked absurdly well, so maybe it isn't bad here

this seems like an extremely close copy of noitas wand system, which is a good system, but i would have liked to see a new creative approach to magic building explored

Yea sometimes Im kinda, "meh, why not" on the meta grind, but this one is pretty egregious. Like, why not just make the game as hard as the 'fully unlocked' version, but from the start? That way you have to get better and just learn the game rather than power up with extra health and crap...
I got excited because it seems inspired by tboi but it has the boring metaprogression like hades. "rpg"like metaprogression is so overdone, hope th edev reworks that
