Collection of income tax by central govt is far above the excise duty....I have seen a lot time this mistake in your other videos....direct taxes constitutes more than 51 percent of the govt of India...not only in India but everywhere in world, you will find direct taxes higher than the indirect taxes.....Why is it so ??...it is a common sense that indirect taxes affect both poor and rich equally....
