Attaching a Camera to the Firework

I started this video a few years ago.
First time I recorded this video the camera got lost with all the footage.
This time I did not loose it, but it got damaged.

It's a great wee camera, but don't put it on a firework as it's not designed to take such a abuse.

A few years ago I bought a little camera and attached it to fireworks.
Unfortunately after launching one of the fireworks the camera got lost with all the footage.
I only had copied the first trial video.
I had to finish the video, so I bought another camera.
In the video you can see footage from 2014 (video where the camera is launched from the tube) and footage from this year.
Even though I did not lose the camera this time, It got damaged.
I guess they are not made for that kind of purposes :)

You gotta have a pretty hardcore camera to survive the temperatures and the fall

Yes, that's true.
I was considering to pad the camera, but I did not want to add extra weight.
A few cheaper/smaller fireworks I tried were not able to lift the camera.
