Instead of getting Wheel alignment done from the service center its better to get it done from outside and it will cost only Rs400-500 and not 1400. The main thing which is increasing the cost of maintenance is the cost of engine oil and cost of spark plug. Cost of engine oil can't be brought down since its a synthetic engine oil but cost of spark plug can be brought down by localisation of parts.If they are importing the oil from outside india then they should try to get the same quality manufactured in india so it will also bring the cost down a bit.
Just a humble feedback: Mileage test is never done this way. Reason being there is no guarantee of fuel pump still lifting the fuel at this low quantity. There is still a possibility of let’s say 50-100 ml of fuel left unused, because fuel injection system was unable to receive it at the manifold. You fill your tank full till AUTO-CUT, drive it for 100 kms (or let’s say 50kms), refuel your car again, till auto-cut. 100 / litres of fuel refilled = Mileage. The way you did it, once or twice more, you’ll end up spending 20k or more for screwing up something in your fuel injection system.
I owned skoda for 5 years and VW for 3 years. Service maintenance cost is absolutely normal, I also have sx4. The service cost is same on both cars, only thing is we may once in a year for skoda. Service cost story is absolutely myth as you said.

SKODA Rapid Plus inside dashboard is ditto of VW Polo. I had VW Polo , then I decided to go to SKODA Rapid Plus , but now my disliking point is only with the dashboard in which i feel bore with same inside scenario of VW Polo's inside.
Recently to took my skoda rider plus for a long drive of 540 Kms with tank full of fuel. after completing 540 Kms, i refilled the tank with just 29 Ltr of petrol. It gave me the fuel efficiency of 18.62 Km/Ltr
This is not the way one should test the mileage !! This causing serious damage to the fuel pump and injectors !! Always fill up the fuel till the brim and drive for 20-30kms later fill it back to the same level. Now divide the kms driven by fuel consumed. This way its more accurate and we are not harming any components of the car.

Today morning had word with JMD Skoda regarding the Rapid plus variant and when i listened to the lady executive of Skoda i realised they are charging Depot Charges which is illegal and when i asked her abt the same she were argued with me on this and were saying it is legal n all. She were asking me proof where did u seen that it was illegal. She was very unprofessional executive ever seen for German brand like Skoda and should be fired immediately without any delay. Now what she does she put my number on various sites where after putting my number i got around 40+ OTPs from different platforms. I strongly doubt it was her act only as revenge she did it. And when i too responded with same way by putting their number on various sites for OTP the massage stopped. This is how executives of this co. Harassed you by such a ways when exposes their so called white caller scam. Should I file legal complaint against that executive and taught her lesson? Need suggestion... Pls guide...
Bro, did you purchased rapid for driving at 60 kmph? The road was without traffic, no breaks applied, it was smooth, you drove at low speeds, ac at 22 degrees is expected no one want to drive with ac @30 degree Celsius. Your video proved that in real life Highway situation and speeds at 100- 110 kmph it would give 12 - 13 kmph. Forget about mileage in city. Second thing. You said service at 15k kms but you missed one point 15k or 1 year. My yearly drive is 9K for that it doesn't matter whether it is 15k or 20k. Those who will drive 15K may not purchase it owing to poor fuel efficiency. Do you have any idea of cost of AC module? What will be the cost if infotainment stopped working?
