I’ve been hesitant about switching over to Samsung because I’ve been with Apple for the past several years. I also have an iPad that I use for journaling and it goes hand in hand with my phone since I can easily sync photos from my phone to my iPad. But like you’ve mentioned, Apple haven’t made much of a difference when it comes to its physical features. Apple is also limited to customization as well but they have apps that can’t be downloaded on android devices (goodnotes). Can you do a review on the Z Flip after having it for some time? I’m interested in knowing about your opinions on the phone and what apps you like you use.
Just so you know, you can make a Google account and sync photos that way. Google is free to use between Android and ios with no issues. I used that when I first moved from iPhone to Android and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of putting all my photos and videos onto my computer in order to save them. I will say though that the live photos will port as a video. But to me, that was OK and didn't bother me.
@@ProloguePrincess I'm not sure actually. I never favorite photos or make albums. But Google makes it really easy to find a photo you're looking for by typing in keywords. And it also automatically creates categories for you to help you search for something based on things like location, people, different types of documents (wedding invitations, receipts, forms...), and items (flowers, trees, buildings...). The people recognition is scary good. It shows me a bubble with every one person in my photos. If I click on them, I can see every picture I have with that person in it. So even if those don't transfer over correctly (in their albums/favorited), it should be very easy to find the photo you're looking for. Also the categories thing isn't forced on you, it's specifically in the search section of photos. From what I see on mine, I see an option to create an album in the library.
I just got the flip today and switched from iphone. I use tmobile and they did everything for me lol. But they were able to transfer all my messages whatsapp photos and i can still use icloud. I have an apple ipad as well so i also have all my icloud sfuff backed up there. I really am enjoying the samsung flip its really neat. Check with tmobile because i got mine from a promotion deal, and it only costed 200$ for the samsung flip with a trade in
i think u should get it! its a very nice and unique phone theres loads of ways of decorating it! And desgining it i have a samsung you can chnage the galaxy theme but this is better bc apple doesnt make phones like this? its very cool and i think you should get it!
I have the Z Flip 4 in the same color and I love it! I play a ton of games (emulators and Android games) and its been amazing so far. The phone getting warm is normal when playing certain games so I wouldn’t worry about it. I also have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I haven’t touched it since getting this phone when it launched, even though I also have an iPad Pro 12.9 that I use daily.. I thought I wouldn’t like the slim and tall design but it’s actually been great since I don’t have large hands. I love the keyboard you designed! Great video as always!
@@thegabfiles Hi! So I'll be honest, the quality of my Z Flip 4 camera isn't as good as my iPhone 13 Pro Max. What I mean is if you just pick up the phone and take pics, the iPhone is better but if you plan out your lighting, I think you'll like the Flip. Overall, the Flip takes better low light photos. The pics usually have more detail and less noise in low light situations (like a room lit by a lamp or mood lights). In really bright lighting situations, the quality is just about as good as the iPhone. I still feel like the iPhone is slightly better tho. It all depends on your environment.

Not a phone i'd ever choose for myself but I have to admit it's really pretty! And yeah this is not a phone for gaming, so maybe set the AC in your room colder when playing games.
I’m so excited about this phone because now that it’s feeling like foldables are finally a comparable quality to standard smartphones, I feel more confident that Apple will be releasing one soon. Exciting all around. (Not that anything would be wrong with switching! I’ve just switched before and I know already that I don’t mesh with Samsung’s UI specifically. If the pixel fold was a vertical fold style, I would likely make the move to that!)
I really enjoy the aesthetic of this phone. I'm currently searching online for a used refurbished phone at a decent price. I think I want it just for the customization but also I really admire the convenience of the front screen. That is really nice. Thank you for the video!
definitely will be saving up for this phone soon, i love the….uniqueness of it, i’ve had samsung before i’ve gotten iphone & it’s been 8 years…..this video & others have made me want to switch back to samsung. iphone hasn’t shown any different features other than a camera, then buying all these pieces just for it to be charged & listen to music etc. they don’t even come out with cool colors anymore, i think it’s more of a business phone than anything if that makes sense? i barely take pictures anyways + i miss customizing my samsung apps & keyboard even if i am 22💀💀

Just here to comment and share with you that more than a year ago I commented sharing I envy you, that my situation was very bad, sadly someone commented back I was not grateful while I was in a toxic relationship with my family, I was stuck with a man who abused my kindness and forced himself onto me and my life.. I had to leave my household while I still was a student, during covid and needed to pay rent with little jobs. I now have finally my appartment, have a degree, gonna start my first little job and to celebrate I got this exact same phone a month ago. To everyone reading : you don't need the last technology, you deserve first of all the best for yourself. Tbh for me it was a present to myself to have gotten this far while I was in a not so good situation and start something New. My relationship with my family has gotten better and I think it's what matters most. And I just feel glad to be sharing a better story this time on your chanel.

YESSSSS, so glad to have found this review and to know that you have had an iphone too. I've got my 12 pro since it first came out probably 2 years ago and it is also in a very good shape and condition still but after seeing soooooo many reviews and commercial about the samsung flip 4 i feel the urge to switch back to android (before switching to apple i have been using several android brands already in the past). I absolutelylove mine and how I was able to customize it soooo cute on the inside and out. Also it really helped my mental health. I don't really use social media as much as I used to which has been nice. I believe that because once I flip it shut its like I don't have a temptation to look at something that's open and brights up with notifications on the entire screen.

It’s a great phone! Price is negligible, depending on where you live. In the US, at least, a trade in will pay for more than half the phone (at the moment it’s around $700 off). Durability has been great as well. I’ve dropped my phone once on hard tile and once on hardwood and my phone is in perfect condition. I had the Z Fold 3 before this and had zero issues with that one after dropping it several times (one time it hit my desk, bounced off the foot of my work chair and landed on my foot haha).The most that could happen is the screen protector peeling. Just remember, people always complain when something goes wrong, but all the people who don’t have issues usually don’t talk about it so it’s more common to see all the bad stuff.
This was all I needed to be 120% convinced to switch to Samsung

a quick fix for the photos thing is to use onedrive or google drive, but I like onedrive better.

What I like is that it looks so clean and pretty without accessories also and some good animated themes don't cost money at all or is pretty cheap!

I love the smoothness and app optimization of apple. Android is more customizable and the flip factor is soooo tempting.

It’s a great phone! Price is negligible, depending on where you live. In the US, at least, a trade in will pay for more than half the phone (at the moment it’s around $700 off). Durability has been great as well. I’ve dropped my phone once on hard tile and once on hardwood and my phone is in perfect condition. I had the Z Fold 3 before this and had zero issues with that one after dropping it several times (one time it hit my desk, bounced off the foot of my work chair and landed on my foot haha).The most that could happen is the screen protector peeling. Just remember, people always complain when something goes wrong, but all the people who don’t have issues usually don’t talk about it so it’s more common to see all the bad stuff.
