Hey i turn my buggy into this exact truggy.....there is a clear difference in driving power, also my suspension now seems like it sags down. I'm thinking it's the sec tires being they're kinda heavy, could it be my motor is just not strong enough with the extra weight? Could I need new shocks as well? It's the exact model same tires but I've watched your video driving it and there's a clear difference.
Hello, is the only difference between the cage and the regular truggy the cage? Or did they beef up the drive shafts? First thing I noticed on the truggy. I just got it. Thank you for any insight!
Hi Brian, See attached links for both the radar gun and screen. This is a really cool setup, I think you'll enjoy them. Hey Bruce, Both are awesome machines. Although I think the Hobao Caged truggy looks cooler, I think I would lean towards the ARRMA Kraton. Only because it seems a little more durable and is a bit faster on the radar runs. The Hobao caged truggy is considerably cheaper than the Kraton, so that may figure in your decision. I think either one would be a good choice. Wisconsin John
Hey Jay, This unit comes with a 150-amp ESC and is capable of 6S Lipo Batteries. I ran a Hobby King Basher 6S 4000mah 65C battery in this run. Hope this was helpful. Wisconsin John
HANGAR 37 hey i think I've been had....i have the same vehicle but i just noticed, i have a 100amp esc and its only capable of 4s. I purchased this in the beginning of 2017.....anyhow im very new to these rc's i actually had no idea about them only the nitro rc's. I was still using my old nikko rc's from the 80's and 90's......what do you think would be a good set up to get my caged buggy to 6s or even 8s if possible?
Hey Jay, I would throw a 150 amp esc in it and run 6S. The motor is the same as the 150 amp version,so you should have no problem. Stay away from the 8S on this machine, there would be no great advantage over the 6S. and besides, if you go with an 8S ESC, you would have to change motors. Hope this was of some help. Where can I find where to get the tires from
Are those src terrain crushers steel belted to stop ballooning? Isn't that what src does to their wheels. Nevermind you answered in the video.
Nice car 👍❤️
No cogging with the combos electric?

Just came across your channel. Great no frills content! Subscribed!
Great video !
Are them terrain crushers any good for bashing?
The cage on this is so nice, too bad they didn't redesign it from the Nitro version to allow it to be easier to put batteries in.
If I ever, ever, ever, ever buy electric this looks cool to me!😆
Very nice John

does anybody know if the nitro version is the same when it comes to speed?
What would be a better choice the Hobao caged Truggy or the Arrma Kraton Thanks Bruce
