AI putting square 60's cars into a 50's movie. Rant initiated.
Most shows set in a particular year puts a bunch of cars from that exact year into the show. But this would mean a whole city of people driving brand new cars, for the time. Poor people driving brand new cars around doesn't make much sense. Hollywood does that all the time, because few people are as picky as I am.
In a real 1955 town there might be 4 brand new cars, and people will point them out saying, Look at my brand new Buick! The rest would be from the 40's, 30's, 20,s and maybe some 10's.
