Most of this is directly covered in the game. Not complaining about the video, just letting people know that they don't need to "brush up" on his history. Johnny is also not as successful in the video game world as he is in the rulebook. He's a well known personality in Night City, but it's pretty well established that he was niche and not very rich. Playing in dives and holes and never quite making it big as a world wide music act. Think what you will about the state of the game, but Keanu kills the role. He is absolutely one of the highlights.
The whole reason why he wasn't too famous and why Kerry was is simple. Corps. Johnny in the game world never wants to associate with ANY of them. Whereas I'm assuming Johnny in the rulebook just hates Arasaka.

He is Now trying to find a way to restore Alt to a Body and Using V since there's no one else he can trust ????? All the Lore and Backstory really make for some awesome speculations. With the way CDPR has showcased V and Johnny essentially coexisting within V’s psyche due to the forced implant of the “key to immortality” biochip, I have a feeling that we will be jumping back and forth through time, playing as Johnny in the past and then back to V in present day.

That's not possible, in Cyberpunk 2020 they say that Adam Smasher destroyed his body in 2, he is only "alive" in 2077 cause his engram (soul) was inserted in a chip by his girlfriend Alt Cunningham, but he doesn't remember anything after 2020
I'm not sure if he wants to decimate Arasaka regardless of how many innocents he slaughters or if he actually cares about that and the player character's welfare. That would help me know how to feel about him.

You left out Johnny's death. Adam Smasher kills him in the assault on Arasaka headquarters in 2023 that nuked Night City and left 500k people dead. Those events are canon so he's almost certainly a sort of cyber ghost in 2077 like Handsome Jack in TftBL. Probably has something to do with the immortality chip and possibly brain dancing. Either way, Johnny got shredded by an automatic shotgun so he's pretty dead.
Silverhand encouraged his fans to come to a concert infront of a building he planed to nuke. A bomb that took out a huge chunk of the city. He knew they would all die and did not care. Have not seen anyone really connect the dot on that part. It is really really sick and twisted

Guys I have a theory. Yorinobo was going to transfer himself to his son in the first place, but the son didn't want to be his dad's puppet. So that's why in the regular ending with you being with Arasaka the son dude asked you if you fear death because he wanted to have Johnny's Engram in him instead of his fathers. That's not possible, in Cyberpunk 2020 they say that Adam Smasher destroyed his body in 2, he is only "alive" in 2077 cause his engram (soul) was inserted in a chip by his girlfriend Alt Cunningham, but he doesn't remember anything after 2020
Btw, he died in Arasaka's building riot, all this things will be better explained in the game through Braindance I believe

You left out Johnny's death. Adam Smasher kills him in the assault on Arasaka headquarters in 2023 that nuked Night City and left 500k people dead. Those events are canon so he's almost certainly a sort of cyber ghost in 2077 like Handsome Jack in TftBL. Probably has something to do with the immortality chip and possibly brain dancing. Either way, Johnny got shredded by an automatic shotgun so he's pretty dead.

Guys I have a theory. Yorinobo was going to transfer himself to his son in the first place, but the son didn't want to be his dad's puppet. So that's why in the regular ending with you being with Arasaka the son dude asked you if you fear death because he wanted to have Johnny's Engram in him instead of his fathers. What's the best middle finger to your father? Letting him know his knew home is with his worse enemy. But somethin like V and Jackie came and ruined the whole plan.
