I have such a hard time against him... You got to be extremely careful with his throws if he's using Kung Lao or Motaro kameos, but if you let go of block to try and tech the grab you might get hit by his fast buttons. I wonder if he'd be a bad character if he didn't have his throw combos
that's good, but my main kameos are Darrius and Jax. I don't like to come off of them because it messes with my normal game plan, which is much stronger imo.
What I got out of this video is just become a Lui Kang main because he’s pretty much strong everywhere. 😂 I’d much rather play Li Mei because she’s way more fun in my opinion. I do lose to Lui Kang all the time though. Him and Raiden are the two I dread facing the most I think. So learn to tech throws, micro-duck and flawless block. That’s our best chance against him.
The problem with this mid leg string - it's hard to react how many button did he press You said which projectiles does Liu has, but nothing about how to beat them :) In KL they are a lot of fireball spammers. And some pro notes how to deal with them - would be nice. One questions about ducking under high attacks. How you mechanically doing that? just tap the down button?
Just hold the down button and let the high attack wiff. you are right about explaining how to beat projectiles, but I have a video on that already. I will make sure to include it in future videos. I shouldn't expect everyone to understand how to deal with them.

yeah, He is strike throw character. I don't think he would be a bad character without throw combos, but he def would not be as good.
I mean you could always use sub zeroa kameo ice shield that counters all projectiles or use khameleon jade glow to counter it

Hold down but you have to let go of block and highs will miss. This is also how you punish throws and his high stings like his high kick after back 2
