It's a minor request, but could we get an option to switch the startup menu background back to previous Seasons/DLCs? It was nice hearing the different themes for DLC maps as they came out, but at the moment you're stuck with the latest Season background that's released.
Man I don't think I've ever played a game with so much bang for your buck, even without the DLC. The base game alone has so much to do and offer. All the expansion maps have been bangers. 3 years later and the game is still receiving new content and updates. This is one of the few games I've felt like I have genuinely gotten my money's worth from. I would love to see this company do their own take on American Truck Sim for consoles. It's the one game exclusive to PC I'd love to see get brought to consoles.
Talks about American Truck Simulator coming to consoles. They just need to adapt the game engine but it's in the works, plus cars and busses might come to the game and not just trucks.

Add the option of tire pressure, the game is always the same, new maps more trucks, why don't you guys add more realistic things, the physics of the game could be better, for me the best game of this type of games that I played was Spintires, what a wonderful game, I recommend Focus Entertainment to hire the Spintires developers or at least put the game with better physics , tire pressure for now would be cool and then add more realistic things. ... then we have the problem of game settings for those who play with the controller, turning the steering wheel in the game's vehicles is terrible and yes I have tested all the settings and no, the game does not have settings that it should have, this would be easy to add to the game the game should have more settings to be able to turn the steering wheels of the vehicles to our liking, you want to know what I'm talking about, see for example Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator, has a lot of settings, driving in one of these two games with a controller looks like you have a steering wheel at home, what I see unfortunately is the game lost in limbo, dlc's more dlc's with always the same things, maps and trucks, you can do much better, just don't do it because you don't want to, I'm sure of that. Saber Interactive doesn't care anymore, that's why I stopped playing the game, I play Mudrunner and SpinTires instead, because they actually cared about detailed trucks and physics, better sounds, everything, Saber Interactive couldn't care any less about the quality of the game, as long as they can keep pumping out mediocre DLCs and not fixing bugs, while getting paid for it
Yeah that's what they should actually be doing. They did make an expansion for farming, which I don't understand why., there is already Farm simulator 2022, and its got nothing to do with anything related to snowrunner . Snowrunners missions are about developing the infrastructure, so hoes loaders etc, all could be used to develop and maintain the infrastructure. It's always bothered me that you can't remove the boulders from the roads, especially the main road through the map. You could mine the stone/gravel and transport the heavy loads through boggy roads, and build new gravel roads. It would be a smart play on their behalf, because you would complete fixing the roads on a map, and have more incentive to purchase a new map.
we love the game, we just want them to add some things like radio stations in the trucks, that you can customize your character with cosmetics and a little more lore
It's so sad that the physics are so arcadish compared to Spintires/Mudtires... I still find my self going back to those old games to get some reality back. That is the only thing keepingme to even finish season 1
The idea is simple.. pick up cargo and deliver it to earn money while having your worst nightmare in the road.. but the storyline you guys create for every season is just really good.. it actually gives a purpose for the game.. I remember when the game was released in 2020 i didn't have a good PC to run it.. when i got the PC.. it's the best investment i ever made on a game.. Plus if we could get multiple winches.. that's the only thing i think is missing r.n..
a new map. and thats it. i would like to see some new features. a bit more customization for the trucks? paintable frame addons? using cranes to actually build something yourself instead of a boring cutscene? bug fixes? i would even buy them as a dlc.
I would like to see a map of Manitoba. I think that would be cool for a new season, especially since it's where I live. Missions like fixing the roads, (since they are crap in a lot of places), would be a new challenge. You could introduce dump trailers to haul gravel and asphalt to road paving crews. There could also be a winter portion where you could introduce snow plow add-ons, to clear the roads after Manitoba's famous snow storms hit. It would also give people the next snow map that they've been asking for.
@@asleepcloud Yeah that could work good too. They could do someplace like up near Churchill, or near the places where those winter roads are in Ice Road Truckers. Can't think of there names at the moment. You'd have to make deliveries up to the communities that are in desperate need of various supplies and equipment, and try to make it without being late. And maintaining the roads in summer with new dump trailers and plowing the roads in winter could still be worked in. The land could be swampy, almost quicksand-like ground in the summer, where if you don't keep moving you'll lose your truck. And in the winter time, there could be extremely icy spots where you could skid out if you go too fast, and on the ice over the water you'd have to be careful to avoid cracks and weak spots, whilst also trying to keep momentum. Cause if you stop on the ice, the weight of your truck might cause you to go under.

Alive with AI and/or other online players. Drive through deserts, mountains, and snowy peaks into jungles with various levels of terrain. From highway to dirt, sand, muddy, and snowy mountain trails. Have the whole continent of South America starting in Peru. Every new country can be a new DLC and a scale of 1/10. From 20-40-year-old European, Asian, and American import trucks you can buy on a 2nd hand marketplace as a freelance driver to leasing multiple brand new trucks as a company owner. Before you set off you have a good walk around your truck to check the condition of your old school truck. From tires, drive shaft, engine oil, coolant, etc. Just like in a Truck Mechanic simulator, you can actually repair many parts. You climb on board with realistic animation like you were in a Call of Duty game. You look at your fully interactive dashboard just like in FS2020. But wait you have to look at your 30-year paper manual locked up in your glove box first. You need to know where you can find the switch for your oil pressure. The starting process goes as far as pulling various switches to pressing the clutch and getting your truck in first gear. (fully 18-speed manual transmission). If too much simulation is too much for the average and casual gamer have a separate arcade mode as well and be able to customize how arcade or sim you want it to be. But if I drive over a rock I should feel the stress of risking my drive shaft just like in BeamNG. If damaged you have to call in either a AI repair vehicle or call in another player when playing on a multiplayer server. He comes with a repair vehicle to perform an in-field repair or deliver a towing service. Otherwise, cargo needs to be transferred to another player. (job canceled). Before you leave town you need to make a stop first to stack up with supplies for your driver. He needs to eat, sleep, drink, study to improve his driving skills, and complete tests to upgrade his driving license in order to get hired on different trucks, jobs, etc. Have a career/story mode from only being allowed to drive a van or 4x4 truck all the way to driving heavy loads. Use your free time to buy 4x4 trail riding rigs and participate in various off-road competitions. Bring elements of the Dakar Desert Rally into the next Snowrunner title. Or go on complete overlanding camping adventures. Be able to interact with your gear, set up a tent, make a fire to cook a meal, or go hunting or fishing. Be able to explore the vastness of the maps. Have fully interactive elements of your vehicle. Maybe have multiple characters as well you can switch to. Just like in GTA 5. If one character needs to sleep in his cabin you can switch to another one who is on a different job or adventure. Setting off on his journey out of Lima, Peru he comes across many interesting viewpoints. Make a few stops at a nearby gas station or truck stop for taking a rest or for some sightseeing on foot. Walk through the village and see the liveliness of other people going through their day. Make the environment more immersive. Explore a local street market and buy fresh products. Or explore ancient sites. Have an unpredictable extreme weather system. Heavy rainfall causes roads to collapse in real time. Mud floods, thunder, hurricanes, tornados, floods, tides, currents and waves from the sea, rock falls, and avalanches in the mountains. Or even sudden earthquakes. Not like it can happen any min but the fact it does exist. Sandstorms in the desert, or simple traffic incidents you need to look out for. If SR comes with a season 4 they really need to step up their physics game engine and go much further into depth instead of selling more of the same. Otherwise, I am not buying it anymore. I actually got pretty bored with the current state of the game yet still in love with the offroad driving genre. But have yet to find a better title.
I hope they do an alberta update one day, just a strict oilfield and logging update. I’d feel right at home, working after work lol. Building Wellsite’s, setting up drilling rig sites, frac sites, even pipelines.
Now that we have kenworth now I can't wait to see more in future I already see the t800s working in logging ( I live in bc ) they are quite frequent in forestry and hauling
when are you going to add the ability to actually fix roads with sand or grit with rollers dumpers loaders could add a lot more playability in all the maps
Never because that's not what this game is about, it's a off-road trucking game not construction simulator. The driving is supposed to be difficult because it's designed to challenge your ability to problem solve to get from point A to point B meaning you have to drive through some very rough conditions in order to complete your task the game isn't supposed to be easy.
@josephbennett3482 true but they added firefighting farming and truck racing so i don't see why not add road repairs also it can made difficult with to access mines and you have transport rollers and other large equipment so they already gone past just being a off road sim
I dont understand why they added farming it has nothing to do with snowrunner, I do agree they need to add the ability to fix roads, hauling heavy gravel trucks through the mud, using loaders to load the gravel trucks, bulldozing new roads.
Yeah you do, don't worry all content from previous seasons is preserved, SnowRunner seasons =/= Battle Pass seasons, SnowRunner doesn't have a Battle Pass-like progression in place, all SnowRunner progression can be consumed in any order at any time you want!
As long as you purchase the passes for the years then you will be able to play the additional regions and get the vehicles that were released with them but for most of them you will need to locate and retrieve the vehicles in order to use them which is sorta a hard process because it requires a ton of driving.

Would love to see a Latvian map. Since where next to Russia then it shouldn't be to hard. Yes wee don't have big maintains or Rocky hills but we have a lot of cool Offroad rouds in the forest area's and a great amount of swamps.

Why Always in North of the America or in russia/Asia. In Europe WE are good place for off road like Islande with montain field river and beach and it IS very isolated and WE are France with montain field and Forest Now dlc give nothing New just New Map and Bad truck sorry but some mod truck IS better than the official truck
I was thinking it would be interesting if you could get together with a movie company and make a Mudrunner or Snowrunner movie, with all of these awesome trucks being used in different parts of the story. I know big rig movies kind of got played out in the 1970’s but one that is focused on working far off the paved path would be interesting and different.

Playing through the first mal right now and all I can say is that they definitely put some serious effort in.

I want these guys to make a heavy machinery/mining expansion. Working hoes, dozers, loaders, etc, etc. With actual track support.

Add more scouts! Even if they aren’t great, I think the more scouts the merrier!! Would love to see some cool new ideas for scouts

Imagine the next Snowrunner title with BeamNG vehicle, driving and damage physics with maps size similar as in ATS and ETS2. Instead, you begin at a city, town, port or industrial area in Peru. Alive with AI and/or other online players. Drive through deserts, mountains, and snowy peaks into jungles with various levels of terrain. From highway to dirt, sand, muddy, and snowy mountain trails. Have the whole continent of South America starting in Peru. Every new country can be a new DLC and a scale of 1/10. From 20-40-year-old European, Asian, and American import trucks you can buy on a 2nd hand marketplace as a freelance driver to leasing multiple brand new trucks as a company owner.
Before you set off you have a good walk around your truck to check the condition of your old school truck. From tires, drive shaft, engine oil, coolant, etc. Just like in a Truck Mechanic simulator, you can actually repair many parts. You climb on board with realistic animation like you were in a Call of Duty game. You look at your fully interactive dashboard just like in FS2020. But wait you have to look at your 30-year paper manual locked up in your glove box first. You need to know where you can find the switch for your oil pressure.
The starting process goes as far as pulling various switches to pressing the clutch and getting your truck in first gear. (fully 18-speed manual transmission). If too much simulation is too much for the average and casual gamer have a separate arcade mode as well and be able to customize how arcade or sim you want it to be. But if I drive over a rock I should feel the stress of risking my drive shaft just like in BeamNG. If damaged you have to call in either a AI repair vehicle or call in another player when playing on a multiplayer server. He comes with a repair vehicle to perform an in-field repair or deliver a towing service. Otherwise, cargo needs to be transferred to another player. (job canceled).
Before you leave town you need to make a stop first to stack up with supplies for your driver. He needs to eat, sleep, drink, study to improve his driving skills, and complete tests to upgrade his driving license in order to get hired on different trucks, jobs, etc. Have a career/story mode from only being allowed to drive a van or 4x4 truck all the way to driving heavy loads.
Use your free time to buy 4x4 trail riding rigs and participate in various off-road competitions. Bring elements of the Dakar Desert Rally into the next Snowrunner title. Or go on complete overlanding camping adventures. Be able to interact with your gear, set up a tent, make a fire to cook a meal, or go hunting or fishing. Be able to explore the vastness of the maps. Have fully interactive elements of your vehicle. Maybe have multiple characters as well you can switch to. Just like in GTA 5. If one character needs to sleep in his cabin you can switch to another one who is on a different job or adventure.
Setting off on his journey out of Lima, Peru he comes across many interesting viewpoints. Make a few stops at a nearby gas station or truck stop for taking a rest or for some sightseeing on foot. Walk through the village and see the liveliness of other people going through their day. Make the environment more immersive. Explore a local street market and buy fresh products. Or explore ancient sites.
Have an unpredictable extreme weather system. Heavy rainfall causes roads to collapse in real time. Mud floods, thunder, hurricanes, tornados, floods, tides, currents and waves from the sea, rock falls, and avalanches in the mountains. Or even sudden earthquakes. Not like it can happen any min but the fact it does exist. Sandstorms in the desert, or simple traffic incidents you need to look out for. Also, have strict traffic regulations patrolled by law enforcement.
From driving hundreds of miles on highway roads through the deserts he made his first checkpoint. This game is still so hung up in 2020, yet I feel the Franchise has so much more potential to create an epic next gen adventure by also looking at what other indie game devs are doing. BeamnG, ATS, Truck World Australia, Alaskan Road Truckers, Truck Mechanic Dangerous Path, Heavy Duty Challenge. Offroad Mechanic Simulator, Across The Wilds.
If SR comes with a season 4 they really need to step up their physics game engine and go much further into depth instead of selling more of the same. Otherwise, I am not buying it anymore. I actually got pretty bored with the current state of the game yet still in love with the offroad driving genre. But have yet to find a better title.

Never because that's not what this game is about, it's a off-road trucking game not construction simulator. The driving is supposed to be difficult because it's designed to challenge your ability to problem solve to get from point A to point B meaning you have to drive through some very rough conditions in order to complete your task the game isn't supposed to be easy.
@josephbennett3482 true but they added firefighting farming and truck racing so i don't see why not add road repairs also it can made difficult with to access mines and you have transport rollers and other large equipment so they already gone past just being a off road sim
I dont understand why they added farming it has nothing to do with snowrunner, I do agree they need to add the ability to fix roads, hauling heavy gravel trucks through the mud, using loaders to load the gravel trucks, bulldozing new roads.

Yeah you do, don't worry all content from previous seasons is preserved, SnowRunner seasons =/= Battle Pass seasons, SnowRunner doesn't have a Battle Pass-like progression in place, all SnowRunner progression can be consumed in any order at any time you want!
As long as you purchase the passes for the years then you will be able to play the additional regions and get the vehicles that were released with them but for most of them you will need to locate and retrieve the vehicles in order to use them which is sorta a hard process because it requires a ton of driving.

Would love to see a Latvian map. Since where next to Russia then it shouldn't be to hard. Yes wee don't have big maintains or Rocky hills but we have a lot of cool Offroad rouds in the forest area's and a great amount of swamps.

I was thinking it would be interesting if you could get together with a movie company and make a Mudrunner or Snowrunner movie, with all of these awesome trucks being used in different parts of the story. I know big rig movies kind of got played out in the 1970’s but one that is focused on working far off the paved path would be interesting and different.
