Btw! The last bridge is "Jungkook-Jimin-Jungkook-Jimin" in this the song, so "I'm gonna make you fire baby" is Jimin's part and was sung by Jimin, but they perform using MV's order(Jimin-Jimin-Jungkook-Jungkook)
10:23 Fun fact .. Jimin was actually the one that sang that high note in this official audio but when it's performed live Jungkook sings that part. I think the reason for the mv being shot this way with them lipsyncing each others lines was for choreo reasons but yea... but Jungkook still does amazing siging that high note live.💜💜💜
Bang PD (aka Hitman Bang, or Bang Sihyuk) was their CEO for years, but he is also a songwriter and a man with incredible vision
he has a big part on bts's creation and their music output, he's also become their friend, and he was there all along with them because he literally created bts lmao, he auditioned people, chose members, came up with the name, etc
other bighit staff that were also there from the start:
- pdogg (bighit in house music producer and eventual songwriter as well)
- son sungdeuk (choreographer and kinda like a performance director, even when he doesn't choreograph he is still there for practice)
- manager sejin (he was their manager for years, but around 2019 he became a manager for another group from bighit, he's good friends with the members)
- slowrabbit (bighit in house music producer)
I miss old good days there were so many interaction between them and members
The sound it’s always confused with a saxophone, but it’s a actually a Korean traditional instrument. The high notes in the final product are actually by Jimin, but Jungkook sings them live. I personally think it was a weird choice of choreo in that part, at least on the official MV, because they could’ve just filmed them singing their own parts, but I guess they just didn’t want to mess with the concept of the video being choreo oriented and “1 take”.

- As for who Bang PD is, he's "Hitman" Bang Shihyuk. He started out as a producer for JYP, then broke away to start his own company and formed BTS.
- And I believe the very first time you heard RM say "어서 와 방탄은 처음이지" (Welcome, is this your first time with Bangtan?) was on "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On."
- Lastly, IDK if you guys had addressed this in a previous reaction and I just missed it, but I was wondering if you had any plans on reacting to a full album from start to finish... because I really feel like you're missing out on some hidden gems. Their B-sides rival a lot of their title tracks, IMHO.
Hopefully when their chronological journey catches up to the recent album/content they can do full album listen ^^ Listening to a full BTS album is a whole other experience ;") especially knowing/remembering the lyrics of the songs AND the overall message of the album just gets me in the feels T^T even remembering Anpanman's lyrics gets me a bit emo lol
As much as I want them to do more, they have lives and kids, and that shouldn't be underestimated. They got albums in the mail and probably listened to them, but it's a whole other thing to record a time consuming reaction.

If my reply somehow made it sound like I didn't care that they have lives outside of reacting to the group's music, that is far from the case. I'll make sure to word my thoughts more carefully in the future, but just so you know, I am very aware of how busy having a career and a family can be, let alone running a RUclips channel. I would be fine if they decided they didn't want to react to the B-sides and simply experienced them on their own. I was simply sharing my enthusiasm for the music, hoping it would inspire them to check it out whenever they saw fit.

10:23 those high notes are actually Jimin's. if you listen closely, you'll notice in the bridge of the song that Jimin and JK sang each others lines in the music video... even in Jin's first scene, those were actually Jimin's vocals. I think they did that for live performance purposes.
THIS SONG IS WHAT GOT ME INTO BTS... i still remember it so vividly, june of 2015, a classmate from uni showed me, and another classmate this mv (she also turned into an army lol we bonded so hard over bts they were basically the foundation of our friendship) we just finished practicing for a PE performance at that time. i was sooo whipped and amazed by their dancing and visuals. Years have passed but this song is still so catchy, still so dope 😜

rapline participates in the writing of almost all songs since they usually write their own verses. them being credited for lyrics doesnt mean it will be more hip hop or rap based, they're really good lyricists

Bang Shi Hyuk aka HITMAN BANG or Bang PD is the founder of Bighit entertainment and now known as Hybe Corp (he's the chairman now). But before he worked at JYP. He's a lyricist, composer, producer, and record executive. Most of the songs he made and albums that he produced even before BTS were pretty big in Korea. He's really a musical genius. Actually some people even said to him before that he's just waisting his talent by pushing BTS because a lot of people thought that they will just be failures. But Bang PD believed in them. There's even a heartfelt letter that he made before that always gives me goosebumps because what's written in his letter to the boys exactly happened during the time period he mentioned. That's why it's a running joke with the ARMYs that Bang PD is a time Traveller or he already had all of this planned since the beginning. Overall, him and the boys have great relationship with each other. There's even a BTS concert where he attended and instead of having a VIP treatment, he fall in line and watch with ARMYs just to experience the fans' experience and see what to improve for the sake of ARMYs.

Guys, I hope you know Dope isn’t the only BTS song with “cool dance” moves. The choreography of this song is much more abundant in the MV, that’s why the dance moves stand out. Songs such as Black Swan, Fake Love, Idol, ON, Dionysus, Mic Drop, Fire, Not Today, to name a few…have cool dance moves too. You could check out their dance practices for these songs (which features the entire choreography for the song)

You really need to go through their discography! So many b sides that are great that have no MV but have live performances and even dance practice! I highly recommend...after you go through the MVs in chronological order you listen to each ep and album in order...I think there are either live performances or lyric video of every song. It’s good to do them in the track sequence because at times there is a progression in themes of the album! Some of my most favorite BTS songs are B sides! They literally have no skips in their whole discography!

Btw...hitman bang or Bang PD is the guy that put this group together...he is a producer and composer...he got the nickname hitman because he produced a lot of hits before he founded Big hit. He actually stepped down from being CEO of Hybe (he is still chairman) because he wants to concentrate more on producing...so now his focus is more on Big Hit!

That high note was actually Jimin lol. they changed their parts for live performances later because of the choreography (which you can see in the mv) but the recording they used in the mv is the original one so it's funny to see Jimin's voice coming out of Jungkook and Jungkook's ot of Jimin haha
Dope is the first MV of them that my daughter showed me. I had asked her what kind of music she hears, she had been at a birthday party of another girl and they had put on BTS, that was her introduction to them. She also showed me Fire and DNA afterward, and I obviously couldn't miss how good of dancers they were. BUt I wasn't in on them yet, I just talked with her a bit about boybands and that I had one back when I was young, and that she's probably in that phase. I was like most people measuring them by the boyband stereotyoe at that point. Then went to see "Burn the Stage" in the movies with her because her friends couldn't go and after 5-10 minutes in I was already sold.
