Good afternoon! Please tell me if it is possible to convert 4 channels into 2 channels (combine channels 1 - 2 and 3 - 4) and write to the entire width of the film, while the total signal to the amplifier is output from 2 RCA output (e.g. from 1-3 channels)? What needs to be done for this? Thanks!!!
Can’t be done without significant mods to the deck. The first part is easy enough, although I would be worrying about phase issues. The second part would need rerouting inside the deck to sum all 4 tracks to 2 outputs.
There was no need to listen to the playback, as the "play" button was in the whole time in record, so we were hearing the playback right from the start of when you set the reels going. It sounded good.
i have the same machine, but i need to replace the capstan motor....amazing machine

Since I am selling the deck it was necessary for demonstration purposes.

@@juliangoicoa9963 Hello, sorry for the late response. I sell all my decks on Reverb and eBay. This deck sold several weeks ago.
