My last session there I was trying to get on a table with you but nobody was leaving unfortunately. I'm now in LA and up 6k first week of March between the four rooms. Another great video Mariano, love what you're doing for the game of Poker. Neeme esque in your vlogs, I can see the influence. I was really impressed with this session. I pause throughout the video and ask, “What would I do?” and then check what you did in order to get better. I would have put in the same bet of $230 with the QQ on that river. I literally thought “$230” and then sure enough! But I would have had to dig deep to find that call! Nice work getting his whole stack. I think the 108 cc hand is a little out of line, though (not going to leave you alone lol). It’s the classic example of flopping *something* with a terrible hand (my argument is that there is not much more equity with 108 suited than there is with 108 off), getting stuck (turn call), and then making a play that’s too cute on the river to win the pot. Trust me, I’ve been there-and I love your aggression-but now is not the time with villain’s 3 bet pre. I feel like they’re going to call you down with overpairs far too often, especially with your line (checking back flop).

They built a permanent building a few years ago, which is really nice and one of the most comfortable casinos in the area. Low and behold, they gamble in tents once again lol.
Nice man solid game play, entertaining video as always. Your value betting was on point, one mistake made that can be corrected was your 10 8 hand. When the button raised preflop with multiple players in the hand very likely he has a premium hand. Him checking on the flop u had good read to not bet out, however when he value bets on turn good chance he is ahead, when he made the "old same bet" on the river in this situation very likely the old same bet is trying to induce a crying call, raising him only mistake.
You should come out to Atlantic City, NJ on the east coast . I’m pretty sure there are a bunch of fans of this vlog from this area, including myself . Would be awesome to sit down and play with you bud ! Keep up the great work on your videos. Cheers !
Hey Mariano, it's Mike the Squirrel Man. We played the 5/10 table today at Morongo 03 19 2021. QQ vs your J10 suited for $100 preflop, flop was K of clubs Q of Hearts 9 of clubs. All in by me with a set of Queens and a backdoor flush draw on the flop versus your flopped King High Straight. I had a few outs especially when the 3rd club hit the turn.... any Queen any club or a 9 or K on the river would have got the win for me but your straight held! Haha, first time playing 5/10 and first time playing the man himself Mariano, and he busts me! It's alright though, we all had a good time at the table. Nice playing with you dude. I will bring my squirrel chip holder next time as well.
I concur that you played really well, especially a couple of the calls where you had to think it through. Doesn't hurt that the deck is also smashing you in the face (or does it hurt?). For those who say vloggers only show winning hands/sessions, I can see where your 2021 videos would make people think that, but I know it's just a god-mode run.
I’m thinking with the pocket Tens second hand, a check on the turn may have been best to induce something/underrepresent your hand. Just a thought but maybe I’m wrong!
Thats a good session right there! I thought you played every hand almost perfectly except the 10 8 s one. I mean you just violated the first rule of live poker. Dont try to get people off big hands lol. It was pretty clear he had JJ+ you said it your self. Other than that, awesome content as usual, keep it going!
I was left with the same impression. And if you ARE going to try to get him off that range, raise way, way bigger, somewhere around 6-700 gets it down significantly more often IMO
I actually liked the check push with the 10 there. As you said that people don't attack your range enough, there it is attacking QQ JJ for a fold and 99 and lower pairs for a hero value.
Mariano, there’s an app called Poker Atlas. I’ve been using it to add myself to the wait list before heading out to the Bike in L.A.. It can be glitchy at times but it usually saves me a ton of time. It tells you how many players are on the wait list.
Lots of money in LA... also they surprisingly don’t spread many lower limit No Limit games with reasonable buy in amounts, they have like $1/3 max $120 buy in games and other weird stuff. So some guys play $5/10NL.
