Till now what he proved is to be a serial cheater (Cheated in 50 online games and he admitted himself he cheated at least twice), not able to remember and explain his move during post-match analysis and on the top of all these embarassing situation he often trashtalks all chess GMs. The only thing we know for sure is that he's simply a Chess trashtalker cheater, that illegally became a chess GM.
He basically joined the club of all those people who get wrongly incarcerated and spend decades in prison and end up living their whole lives with the label of "ex-convict"... but were actually innocent the whole time! Edit: Also, I've said this before, I'll say it again. Dude looks a LOT like Ivar the Boneless from Vikings. And Ivar was downright RUTHLESS! I can see similar personalities in them both too 😬

He promised that he won't dodge any more games with Hans where they're paired (i.e. not the team chess matches, where he continued to dodge Hans). Anyway, Magnus is gonna play Hans in the SCC if he wants his promises to be taken seriously

I think it is pretty likely that Magnus will win, but a young gun eager to storm rank 1 should have his chance trying to beat him at least. Hans pretty much got cleared for the cheating thing, and for the behaviour thing, Magnus isn't exactly the most professional guy either when it comes to things like interviews.

However, Hans was acting really suspicious when he struggled to explain the reasons behind any particular move he played in that game against Magnus, as if he was just seeing the moves through an engine. This made people realize that Hans really cheated in that game. Yet there are no evidences found. In last weeks he started his first tournament in SCC 2024, and he seems to be playing this time pretty much legit.
