FREE TAPERED FLY FISHING LEADERS FOREVER - Well, just as long as you have the material for it...sure!
One of the biggest problems I have when it comes to fishing is - spending. So I try to find solutions that make me spend less - this is one of them. Instead of buying leaders for my fly fishing, someone taught me this and I practically stopped buying tapered leaders and just make my own.
The problem with self made leaders are the knots - you can make a tapered leader easily, but there are a lot of connections and honestly, takes too long to make. This leader, once you get the hang of the process is very easy to make and it is just as good as commercially sold leaders - if not, better.
I have caught everything from flats species all the way to pelagics with this leader and now, its time to share.

Could i use thread instead ?. Very usefull , furled leaders are expensive here in the UK about £7- £8 each . Thanks .

mono for me is easier - just pick out the leader size you want...like take for example, 4lb, then when you make this leader, you double and quadruple the line in the furling process, so you have 4x4 strands, then 4x2 then you loop in your 4lb test at the end...you get a perfect taper! cheap as chips too! but yes, you can also use thread.

Would this stil work for when you need a .35 tippet? Or would you then use a .20-.25 mono?

Depends on the diameter of the material you use - you are essentially quadrupling, one end then doubling the other end of whatever material you are using the taper is completed with thr single strand you loop on at the doubled end
