Abdul, Thank you so much for posting this help video. I had two Ninebot MiniPro's which both had dead batteries. I didn't use them over a year and decided to give them to my grandchildren. When I went to charge them the charger just stayed green. Knew something was wrong. I look the issue up and saw some video's. Your video was the shortest and most straight forward video out there. In less than 3 minutes because of your video, I knew exactly what to do. I did it exactly as you posted and it worked. My first MiniPro battery didn't blink green, but after 30 minutes I took the charger and plugged it in directly to the battery and BAMB, battery now charging. Again thank you so much because otherwise they would have been junked. Now my grandchildren can enjoy them.
Thank you so much for posting this! I found 2 of these MiniPros at an estate sale. Got them home and one would charge and the other wouldn't. I used a speaker wire to connect one battery to the other, let it sit for 40 minutes and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
Many thanks, great tutorial, have tried this and although chaerger has now turned red the baterry light is not blinking tred or green after 8 hours, battery has 54.5 volts, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thankyou
In that case it’s possible that this battery pack is too old to be revived. The cells have probably deteriorated and need replacement. I’d suggest checking how many miles/kms you get from full charge of the battery. If it’s in usual range then it’s okay otherwise a new battery would be the possible solution. I have tried replacing cells in these packs as well as BMS it’s just not super friendly and didn’t solve it for some battery packs.
Hi, question for the short cable that connects the charger to the battery, which type of cable do you use? Can I use any type of cable for that? Thanks for the video.
Basically you need some 16AWG wires and a digital multimeter to measure the voltage. You can also get end terminals for the wires just so they fit in the holes on battery. That’s pretty much it
Seems like it’s in deep sleep state. If it is in working voltage range it should be blinking green. Hence the method to give it power directly to revive it. A multimeter usually comes in handy in these situations so we are not making guesses and working with actual data.
@@Hard58753 I have this simar issue. After jumpstarting the batter is steadily green and my charger light is green too. Looks like our battery is gone :(
My battery is blinking green but when I try and charge it the light on charger goes red for a split second then back to green. The screen on the Segway shows it’s charging but it does nothing. Is my battery shot?
I actually did this recently before finding your video. Before I had green light on charger pack and never be able to start a charge. The Segway was sitting dormant for 7 yrs doing nothing. I had 4 volts on battery when metered and red light flashing 3 times. I made a cable similar to yours using paper clips and audio video cable spliced and twisted on paper clips taped on so it wouldn’t short the positive and negative. Charged the battery for an hour and when I went back the green light was blinking so I plugged in the charger in the normal port and the power pack went red light for charging status. This actually works better than some peoples videos that break into the sealed case using two screwdrivers ruining the battery pack. Took Segway to families home and they played on it all night. Battery still showing full charge. So I’m waiting for them to run the battery down and see how long it lasted. Also the Segway was not used more than twice since buying it and sitting for. 7 yrs living in apartment. Etc. Thanks for confirming the fix on this video.
Glad it helped you out. The battery packs can last way longer if looked after properly. This segway battery has deep sleep mode which protects the cells from dying early.
Question: I am following the first method because I don’t have a second battery. I followed the steps exactly but when I plug the ninebot charger into the wall to begin the “jumpstart” it doesn’t have the red light to indicate charging instead it is the solid green light...? The battery itself doesn’t have any lights on until plugged in them it is just a slow steady red blinking light every second... this is the same thing that happens when I simply plug the 4prong cable into the port on the battery. Any ideas?
In this case your battery probably has one or two over discharged cells and it isn't taking any sort of charge anymore. You can either try to take it apart and replace the faulty cell or just get the new battery.
Hi , thanks for the video . I would like to share with you my problem. I recharged my ninebot s Max of my go-kart. The day after , the displays of ninebot S max indicated that the battery was fully charged. I unplugged the cable and i power on the device. The firth 5 sec was on , then all off. I tried again to power on , but nothing ... any light turn on. So I search in internet and I come to you video. I disassembled the battery and I look the led that flashed blue color. I measured the voltage and it's 60. I try to do what you doit in you video , nut nothing happen. The led of battery is flashing blue and , if I try to power on the devise, nothing happen. Thanks if you have some idea to resolve the problem.
I like to check with you if you are aware of the error message if the led blinks for 4 times then stop and nothing happens. This is after I have removed the battery and tried charging it. Do you know what it means if the battery blinks red for 4 times and stop? Would your method #1 help? I am not sure if this would do it or like you mentioned with the other person that the other cells may be over discharged.
That revival method wouldn’t work. You have a few dead cells in the pack. You can take it to a shop which can replace dead cells for you or get a new battery pack. There are some refurbished battery packs available too
Bro I was wondering if you can help me please, the connecting cord attached to kart was damaged so I bought new 4 pin connector but I am confused do I solder each cable to a pin
I do not have the GoKart anymore to see which wire goes where but other than the power (which you can see in the video) you should just follow how rest of the wires were connected on pin originally. Or just get replacement from Amazon which has wires already connected.
Thank you so much for this video, am from Uganda I'm losing my charger all of Uganda doesn't charger so I request your help when you can help me please bro
I am not sure how to help. If you know anyone travelling from Middle East you can ask them to bring you replacement charger. Otherwise Kenya and Rwanda has a lot of electric vehicle startups and repair centres, maybe they can help somehow.

It’s an electrical cable. 20 or 18 gauge would be fine to use here

Can you help? What parts do I ask for at the electric store? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Yeah it’s possible that it’s just dead. You can have it fixed by any battery expert who has experience with li-ion battery packs.
