I Bought A Drug Dealer's Storage Unit is not true this time, but the old storage unit owner did try to steal his stuff back. I bought a storage unit and found drugs before, but this time we found awesome storage unit finds. I bought an abandoned storage locker A LOT with epic storage unit finds but this storage auction locker was definitely an INSANE storage locker! Storage unit auctions and storage unit buying have become our full time job, so each storage auction has to provide BIG MONEY!

I have a racist neighbor .... I just ignore him. Heck, he constantly calls Code enforcement on us (false reports). Frustrating.. He also people watches from his house and recently made a makeshift fence on his deck so he wouldn't see us. He recently played his music loudly, my response was, I opened my window and played "Wayne's World, Party Time, Excellent" phrase from youtube and then jammed with Tropic Thunder, Tom Cruise dance scene. It has been quiet since... waiting for his next move. Bottom line, I just have fun because I hate the R card ....I don't get even ; I don't react..

27 minutes in..."It's crystal!! Nah..." You're right, it isn't crystal...but it could be Murano Glass. A style which often encased coloured glass in colourless glass in a variety of shapes. Some of the pieces can achieve quite decent prices, so please don't disregard it as junk...!

3:19 Yes a truck tool box. You can carry it to a locksmith and get a key for about $4. If you want to fly me to Cali, I can open it with my lock picks.

That empty Dom Perignon box at 18:56 could be worth money depending on the year. Some vintages boxes and empty bottles sell for over $100. That looks like around a $25 dollar box.

When you tap a crystal piece it will almost sing compared to glass. You can snap your fingers (like flicking a bug off of you) against crystal and it will ring very pleasantly.

Old Mason jars can sell for $$$$ Vintage Coke Cola bottles that golden on can be worth $140 and up depending on the year. The Avanti leather coat can cost from $70 to over $1000 depending on length and style. The Japanese wall art looks like mother of pearl inlay. Just gorgeous!
Invest in a jewelry loop Jebus. maybe a "Storage Unit Utility Belt" Easy to carry a knife, loop, flashlight & maybe even a small pouch to put the jewelry & change in. Just a thought. Keep with it guys!

I have a loupe in my purse, but generally just use my nearsighted eyes if I'm at an estate sale or the like - you don't want to tell the dealer they missed something if you don't have to. Pull the glasses down and I'm off to the races. One trick without a loup is to run the edge of your fingernail over earring posts/backs and the like. Short marks on gold-colored pieces are generally a good thing. Long ones usually mean costume.

Genuine crystal, especially thin pieces such as stemware, emits a distinctive, clear tone when struck gently. Tap the piece gently along the rim with your fingernail; if the piece is real crystal, it will ring out with a pleasant tone. Glass emits more of a clinking sound.
The lights are out! You find a good maglight you turn it off and throw it back in the box........perfect! Lol
You should have kept the flashlight that you found in the tote for when the light goes out :)
When you flick crystal it makes a specific sound that is different from the sound glass makes. Crystal tends to resonate more and for a longer time than glass, give it a try some time using a crystal wine class and one made of glass.
Be careful with bowl it's hand painted and worth a little chain.

They would good money if sold to a collector. The Rolling Stones poster is for a concert that is infamous in rock history: the story is that the Hells Angels, a notoriously rough biker group, hired for security killed a man while the Stones were playing their song "Sympathy for the Devil". The Stones reportedly stopped playing that song in concert as that was the last of several odd mishaps that happened whenever they played that song.

When you flick (be sure to set it on something an not touch it as you flick it) real crystal it will have a musical ring to it. Not real Crystal will give a thunk noise.

Some of the "just glassware" (and ceramics) could be valuable; so don't just dismiss it out of turn. Also, the reason why the crystal ship's decanter sounded dull was you literally choked the tone out of it. Had you held (placed) the decanter on an upturned palm and lightly flicked the side of the body (rather than the neck); you would have received a delightful ring...rather than a dull thunk...!

I think the stones poster is worth $ partly because of the hells angles connection, I seem to remember something bad might have happened at that show?
They hired hells angels as security and the hells angels beat people up and stabbed them. About 4 people died. Then the rolling H.A put a hit out on jagger. But they couldn't get to him. A radio station was talking about it just this week.

Rolling Stones concert in Altamont where the Hell's Angels were hired for security and killed an 18 year old African American man. Your back story gives the poster a twisted meaning.
Never looked it up before to see that bit of info. The victim's skin color never meant too much to me. I always figured that you can get every bit as executed for killing anybody of any race or skin tone. Better by far to live and let live.

It was one of the events that caused the end of "the summer of love" and the hippy movement, and the beginning of the turbulent 70's.
