I really love the classic one, If only they didn't delete old save every major/DLC update. I had a nearly 200 h save with all the item unlocked. I like the feeling of building with limited compartments.
If you download your save next time I think it can be used

I watched your Ultimate Rescue Helicopter series recently and felt inspired. So I bought Stormworks and built something similar for myself. I’m pretty satisfied with the design but I have no idea how any of the technical stuff works yet.

Career is best! I always turn off Search and Destroy DLC though, I just find that whole mechanic annoying.
Nice, gonna need to learn how to use the astro sensor to find space stations
you need a gas relief valve to fill your fuel tank up
if not you just can't fill your fuel tank if need be
You can still finish missions by dropping people off on the medical ships.
