Trevor, I thought you were long gone. I have been subscribing with notification bell for years and yet I don't get notified. I just happened to look on RUclips and saw you. I literally haven't seen your work in years. So happy to see you are still there tripping the light fantastic with your remarkable dogs. Hoping all is well
I was long gone!!! Too long. Thank you and I am here to stay. Life for crazy there for a bit
I just learned of this and would like to know if you can use your own commands or do they have to be the ones listed on AKC? For example, my dog already knows many of these tricks, but my commands are different. For example, instead of "circle right" I use "spin right." Instead of head down, I use "chill." Does it matter? I am not going to reteach my dog tricks he already knows giving them different names - just an exercise in confusion.
You can use any command! If you want to use flying saucer 🛸 for spin then go for it haha. Thanks for the great question
I have a black lab border collie mix. We are stuck with sitting pretty. Just cannot get past him putting paws on my thigh for balance. He is a large dog so does that make it harder?
I am a big fan of your videos. First time I saw you and Jade was on Zak George channel riding a skateboard.
Thanks for all you do.
Yes! Big dogs do have a hard time with this. They sometimes need to work on developing more core strength. Try balance discs and or fit bones to help with that. Feel free to reach out on thedoggiedojo.com. Might make a fun livestream to work on it together if your up for it.
A live stream would be great!
We are presently enrolled in Petco's Adult dog training and will be testing for AKC Canine Good Citizens. Diesel is well on his way to earning a trick dog title mostly thanks to your trickmas series. You explain steps in such a way that even a non dog trainer like myself was able to follow.
Love this. What about your Border Collie ?
I am a BC snob . lol
I wish there was a haha 😂 reaction! Jade our border collie is also an elite performer. What trick do you want to see from her. Oh also checkout the Trickmas playlist in the description
@@thedoggiedojo Well I love when the dog runs up the front of you and does a backwards flip and ends on his feet but don’t do it because I don’t think it’s safe and I think it’s kind of dangerous but that is my favorite trick
can your dog put a glass of water on his head and walk around with it I’d love to see that without him or her spilling it
