I read his books when I was a high-school student decades ago. His words changed my life completely. I learned how to be myself during goods and bads. How to love others even if they're not lovely because everyone is lovable and what matters is hard to be seen. I remember my fist search on the internet was his name. I envy the people who had a chance to see him in person. He's always in my mind and heart.

I first was introduced to Dr. B when I was in college (decades ago) and i have a few of his books in my library but over the years, I have forgotten to go back to reading what he has to say. These days, in the midst of a pandemic and the worst political crisis the world has ever known, I have needed to go back and read about love...and trying to stir up some positive energy. And I remembered a lecture by Dr. B and something he said that, at the time, made me roll my eyes and say 'no way jose'... but you know what...I think he was right and I think he knew something about Quantum Theory before a lot of other folks were talking about it.... If anyone can direct me to what he said about a football stadium full of people, all thinking the same thing at the same time...and concentrating on lifting the whole joint up...it would happen. I can't find that reference anywhere...So it seems to me that I've been seeing people, so negative, causing negativity to multiply to where it is now..and i'm wondering if we can try to change it to the positive. What do you think?

You put into words just what I was thinking. In the mid 80's, my mom and I used to listen to his cassette tapes(yep, I just said that 😆). Helps to get my head, heart and soul in a better place than it's been. I will be listening more and more often. I love the good vibes that resonate in me when I allow myself to slow down and remember that his teachings matter and make a difference. Thank you for sharing.👍

Dr. Buscaglia has taught me more about life than anyone else. Dr. Buscaglia, I love you for what you have taught me. Love is a decision and every time I make that decision I become a better person. My life is happier, those around me are more content and everyone comes out on top. Dr Buscaglia, Jesus really loves you and I think.you emulate HIS life more than anyone l know. You are an apostle of Christ during the 20th and 21st centuries.

You would be write and wrong. People who are extremely happy feel sadness deeply. You can't have extreme happiness without experiencing sorrow. Leo was brave enough to feel both to its fullest extent.

like all saints he suffered alot
thats why he was who he was
its only those who suffer who even have a shot at having compasion for others
    thats how it works
your suffering is your door into relating to the rest of the human race
so if you notice he seemed sad
also notice he turned that into something good.......for you

Nobody grows old nearly living a number of years. People grow old by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin but to give up wrinkles soul - Leo Buscaglia.
