man, we've really watched this guy grow havent we???
I've been here since the Daewoo lanos video lol
@@ANDREWSAMY562I've been here since the 2000 Lincoln town car video.
@@ANDREWSAMY562, me too. I remember him going into junk yards to start cars.
I remember requesting in depth tour of 1959 Cadillac in 2011 or 2012😂 And it happened! Thanks to saabkyle04!
Cars of this era are just pure art. Totally unmatched.
In 1961 there were two teachers who were identical twins at my elementary school they both had Cadillac Convertibles one Black the other White so cool.
1959 Cadillac is the father of all beautiful cars.
She’s a beaut! My uncle briefly owned a pink 4 door 59 inherited from the passing of a great aunt . I was in awe at all the power functions it had for that year . Even with the salmon pink paint the car was just incredible . And a huge car.
He has grown up. Awesome
We had that one in black as a Series 62 base model. $4500 new. I took my driving test in it in 1967. Parallel parked it effortlessly and perfectly, 6 in. from the curb. Those were my glory days. It’s been downhill ever since.
The horizontal bars of the steering wheel were painted white. It would rub off near the rim from resting one’s thumb there. This one’s been repainted a dark color. Quality of fabric and vinyl were excellent. Trick to keeping white vinyl fresh was to keep it clean and free of body oil. I used a foam cleaner every week. Ours was garaged. Never lost its new car scent. For paint, Rain Dance worked best. Rewaxed when water beads had become too large.
Right! You got to it after I wrote this. The trunk was lined with a durable houndstooth pattered vinyl. Not fancy but easy to clean. Slippery though. This one’s been finished in black felt or carpeting.
The grill is a work of art. 300 pieces of clipped-together anodized aluminum. Intricate but easy to keep clean. No corrosion whatsoever. Those were the days when intricate grills were a sign of quality. Other GM brands featured simpler stamped grills.
Chassis was X frame. Stiff but not offering side protection. Used for all large GM models.
The Greatness of old Detroit steel.
True dat homie
Superb review of this fine example of a '59 CAD.
The 59 Cadillac coupe is one of my favorites
Harley Early retired in 58' but you can still see his design queues in this rolling art. Bill Mitchell credited with this design. Bill Mitchell and Harley Earl both had that talent for that rolling art deco classic design that should have never been abandoned.
With all the cars coming back witha. Retro look- I am astonished this hasn’t come back.
Simply the best looking car ever made.
OMFG it’s one of my favourite cars! It really is a thing of beauty.
its nice to see old good classics.
I watch your videos every single day and it puts a smile on my face every day. I love you so much, that I do in depth tour car reviews just like you. So far, I started my playlist of in depth tours in October of 2021. So far, I'm gonna have 70 in depth tours! Keep up the great work, and would love to visit you like Garrett did! I have autism and I'm on the spectrum. I also have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), and Tourettes Syndrome. My mom is gonna email you to plan to come visit you, sometime in the future!!! :)
This guy was the OG
I miss this sound
That car is stunning. Glad you got to review it.
Love these classic reviews, getting all the details you’d get as if it was brand new!
I have to admit, that is one super beautiful classic Cadillac!
As always, I really enjoyed the review so much.^^
As young as Kyle is, he's the OG of RUclips car reviews!
Thanks for the Cadillac Deville profile, my late paternal grandfather had one in LHD drive format in New Zealand up to 1971 at his passing.
I say LHD, given that NZL is a RHD territory.
I loved this car to be passenger in although I was only 5 years old when he passed. Do the maths how old I am now 😊
I loved my grandparents, I would have done anything for them had they lived longer than they did.❤
Wow just wow amazing car 😍😎
One of the most iconic american cars ever.
Timeless!
My all time favorite caddy! Such a sexy car!
I grew up on this guy's videos
In 59' Our family car was a 55' Olds Rocket 88 2 door H/T. Should do a review on that classic.
Very stunning muscle car love the classics
Great Vid Kyle !!!
Not sure if you’ll be able to find one, but I love to see a review to the 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special.
Wow ! this one very awesome old school vehicle right here and it's in mint condition thanks for sharing saabkyle04.👍
awsome video kyle the front end reminds me of the ghostbusters car love it thumbs up and shared
I am not sure if you observed, but when showing the engine revving with the hood open, there is something hanging on the AC rubber hoses, which dangles back and forth.
I miss those times when he will say in the beggining "hey everyone hows it going"
That's one of my favorites 👍
Bedankt
This was an classic!
If you ever have the opportunity, you should review Johnny Cash’s “1 Piece At A Time” Cadillac or maybe the Hudson Hornet
My great aunt was born in that year, SHE SHOULD HAVE THAT CAR
Yes
She's out of luck because I was born that year and I already called dibbs, lol.
6:25 They are called fender skirts, not rear wheel opening covers.
Oh, wow car!
Thank you sir
This cat absolutely screams 1959!
Kyle - did I hear you say optional heater installed?
How could one drive a car in colder conditions without a heater?
Wouldn’t the front windshield freeze up making visibility difficult?
Beautifully presented video.
Stunning 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville.
Heaters were optional in warm climates back in the day.
@@jonathanmorrisey5771the heater with defroster was standard on this Cadillac. It was optional on early 50s cars, like low priced fords.
I am hoping some day you can buy a whole new steel body of one of these cars.
This is the most beautiful car ever made. You have to ask yourself when you see this is what the hell happened? Why can’t we do this anymore with more modern technology? It’s insane
Lovely 59
We miss see old American cars on the channel like Cadillac from the 60s to 90s and chevrolet like Corvette and cámaros from the 90s and Jeeps grand Cherokee like the famous 5.9 límited from 1998 and the Ford svt cars from the 90s
Old school. For those of you who are curious, $5252 in 1959 would be equivalent to about $54,750 today.
Ours cost $4500. My Dad was a welder. Made around $137/wk, so about $7K/yr.
@@FrankGutowski-ls8jt When I started working in the mid 70s. I was making about $220 every 2 weeks if I remember correctly.
I want one in white and convertible
Great video and a fantastic car, I wish my channel was as good as this one.,,,,,Very cool ❤
Good evening, my attention was drawn to your offer of a 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood and also a 1959 Cadillac. I want to buy both cars. Can we communicate to finish the matter? Thank you, Dr. Shaheen.
If it's good for Elvis it's good for me!
where did you get the text you're reading?
Who else wants to buy this old car like that?
Having said that this car's dash looks good. I meant in general.
Das ist ne Rakete :)
can you please do a Toyota Sianna miny van with the hybrid and AWD drive soon as possible
Nice 🥰🥰
I remember when you would see these cars on the road everyday. Shucks I was born in the 2nd half of the 50s and remember when 1940s cars were still daily drivers and a few 1930s cars were still driven too. So I did my growing up in the late 50s to mid 70s. We had great music, cool cars and nothing like the senseless BS crime, craziness, transgenders, political criminal banana republic White house open border sh!t we see today. A whole better time in history then. Wasn't perfect but wasn't insane either.
Try redoing that black Elasco-Fab dash and good luck. Elasco-Fab. That just makes me laugh.
Didnt know batman was a caddy man
Can you review a 2001 Toyota solara v6
Why???
clean the windshield
❤❤❤
The way it looks, the way it sounds, the way it drives are at least reasons why this baby has to go back on the production line. A HUGE mistake was eliminating cars like this.
They did it to save money of course. In those days there was real automotive innovation going on. Starting in the late 90s and early 2000s, all manufacturers started on a steep decline in quality and craftsmanship. For one reason and one reason only, to make more profit. Fast forward to today, and all new cars are a joke. Plastic oil pans, plastic coolant systems, new escalades with 50k that need new camshafts and lifters, it is a joke. All we can do is appreciate the cars of the past!
Shorts in à Cadillac?!🫣
I would take the Imperial Crown over this car ////////////////////////////
Those Cadillac would have been on par with Rolls Royces.
Wow
I f Detroit remade this car, Im sure folks would pay 100k for one, also it would make the American car great again.
NICE. Ahhhhhhhhhgh
Bruh
NOW YOU'RE COOKING WITH GAS SON .........AND THAT CAR IS PROBABLY AS HIGH AS A NEW AMG BENZ GT BLACK
Theses old barges these times just best in the museum only.
Enjoy driving your TOYYOYO.
Elasco-fab....HA!!!
why does this genius constantly rev the engine.....I don't see the purpose.
Because modern engines are muted and when a person gets into such a classic revving the engine is hard to resist. Even a genius would struggle to resist.
Nope. You're still awkward
Simply gorgeous 😍
