Sakristan has a good story too , These three BL series have different stories and I enjoy each one of them. In short they have different punch and flavor.
Dead air where? Some scenes need it to set the mood, also the transition to a different scene is genius to use time lapse. The camera shots yes giving you the indie vibes that's why the virtual-indie shots combo is smart...
I love the scene when Miko was trying his best to apologize and Xavier seemed like he was waiting for it with his ego on top of his head but decided not to be engulfed with pride.
This BL series is phenomenal imagine the first episode got around 1 million views in less than a week. While this 2nd episode garnered half a million views already in less than 2 days. It is a light romcom and people are fond of watching 2 good looking guys. I like Mico's naive but straight forward demeanor and Xavier's playful antics.
My observations: 1. Ang galing ng atake ng bawat characters sa serye na ito. 2. Sarap ng ngiti ni Xavier at ni Mico dito. 3. Super level up na si Vivoree from her PBB days. 4. Pinaka-cute sa serye na ito si Seph. 5. Iba ang kilig level ni Mico at Xavier. 6. Na-mico ka na ba? Yong wala kang kamalay-malay, na-fall ka na pala.
i know right.. hahaha i think crash na ni Mico dati pa si Xavier...because nag wonder lang ko sa first episode kung saan na punta si Xavier sa link nila sa quiz night...
❤️ I wasn’t expecting that I will love this show as well. Eventhough the set up is virtual, it really has a huge effect in my emotions. Xavier x Mico will most likely be one of my favorite couple after Gu Hai x Bai Luo Yin & John Paul and Craig

Actually, we are using "taglish" (tagalog-english) language here in the Philippines. Just incase you wonder why there's a lot of english being used in this series.
This "Hello strangers" and "Gameboy" is really has a good chemistry and story line, I love the main character, you guys really make me Screamm sa kilig every episode (CHAROT!!)😂😂😂😂 I love you Tony and JC😘 can't wait for more😁😁😁

no ur not. sa totoo lang ayoko ng mga rush na landian. Dito mas realistic ng konti kasi pinapakita yung progress sa maayos na sequence ng mga scenes at topics. Yung problema lang talaga ng series na to medyo nagiging boring ng konti minsan lalo sa mga unang parts ng bawat episode. Kulang sa music background.

There used to be some air of awkwardness in Episode 1 but episode 2 already feels like we've known them (and they've known each other) for a long time. Nakaka-proud na yung acting nila. This series is taking off.
It's the best year for BL lovers!!! Aftee Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and now Philippines has BL series! I'v already fell in love with their chemistry, they're so cute! I really hope they will make 'offline' scene, I know it should be difficult due to pandemic situation.. But at least please make it long episodes! Or even make it more seasons! Love from neighbour #Indonesia...

I am in love with this show and the cast so much and we are only 2 episodes in 🥰❤ Also, am I the only one who ISN'T comparing Hello Stranger to Gameboys!? I just don't get how you can compare the two? Even though they are being filmed in a similar way they are quite different from each other. And I love that!! 😊 The fact that they are going at 2 different speeds (gameboys is def a fastburn & hello stranger looks to be a slow burn) and have 2 very different storylines is what keeps me coming back to both shows.... who on earth wants to watch 2 shows that are the same? 🤷♀️
so true. they're different. gameboys is more on an unconventional love story which makes the viewer somehow involved while hello stranger makes us reminisce of the feels and makes us relate to the characters by observing them.

Their little heart to heart moment is the best thing that has happened in the two episodes that were released and thank goodness ! I was beginning to think I wasn't going to like this series and was really bummed for a second but after seeing Xavier open up to mico like that I have hope !!
Irl, never fall in love with a guy who's smile and look like Xavier...it's a recipe for a heartbreak. You can have fun with them, but never take them seriously.
I've watched so many BL series from Thailand and Taiwan. But I must say, Hello Stranger is promising. I just hope, hindi mahilaw ang pagkakakuwento ng love story para lang masabing may dalawang lalaking nagka-inlove-an. But so far, it piqued my interest. And I personally like the pacing. Hindi pilit. Tama lang.
Slow burn yung bawat episode pero may halong kilig na lowkey then biglang highkey haha!! This is surprisingly good. The first time I watch, I kinda felt like the mood is a bit toned down, but in episode two, it kinda grows on me :)
I want to take that advice, but I've never been that person. I'm often too opinionated for my own good. LOL. But I've learned that the people who matter will stay and accept my big mouth. Those who won't will just move on. At the end of the day, I have to be me and accept who I am. But to your point... Maybe I can learn to have a balance. Not too cold. Not too hot. Thanks. Maybe, but sometimes people want opinions from closer people, even unsolicited ones. To know that you care. Just put it in a more sensitive way, I guess.
Have you heard of unsolicited advice? Sometimes someone needs to stir your own cauldron. Meaning, a third party is needed to approach you with his/her opinion even if you don't ask for it coz sometimes, you might find the answer through his/her words. Though in Mico's case here, he just said things he shouldn't have said. He has good intention but he chose the wrong words.
This is such a nice series and the two main actors have such chemistry together. The buildup is slow but sure and I'm looking forward to the inevitable romance that is going to develop once Xavier ditches Crystal and realises he has feelings for Mico.
Mas nakikita ko ngayon na yung halaga na tanggapin yung ganitong klase ng relationship, kasi u see never naman sila nanghingi ng sobra. I'm loving the casts and their acting. This series has truly surpassed my expectations. I thought that BL here in our country would get a lot of criticisms and hate. Thankfully, it was accepted and adored by many. Thank you for this!

Gameboys: Even prior to the start of Episode 1 (for all we know), Gav already liked Cai so he’s coming for him right off the bat. Hello Stranger: We get to see how Mico is “falling” for Xavier from the first 2 episodes. So I think the pacing (though very slow) is just right. It would be very awkward and weird if either Mico or Xavier becomes very aggressive with flirting towards the other right away. And Xavier has a girlfriend for goodness sake 😂 Though I must say that the series is very promising. And I hope they would pick up next episode 🤞🏻

I love how Gameboys and Hello Stranger are distinct but equally kilig from each other ❤️ The chemistry of the actors are so so good. Gameboys and Hello Stranger are the GOLD STANDARD of Filipino BL 🙌🏻
Let’s all be honest, some of you dislike the pace because we got used to gameboys’ fast pace. I actually love this-slow and somehow realistic. The ambiance was realistic. And it feels like you can connect with all the elements of the show.
Oh that was full of cuteness and so sweet.....That last line "what have you done to me" seriously my heart was like ahhhhhh...soooooo cute and that smile ...This episode definitely was so romantic.....loved it so much. ❤❤

Both paces are good especially since the plots are entirely different. HELLO STRANGER is about two guys working on a project and accidentally falling for each other, no one can rush that. GAMEBOYS needs to be fast-paced since one character went into the interaction with intent of getting the other, one needs to be aggressive. BOTH WORKS! AND I'M HERE FOR IT. LOVE THESE PINOY BLs. 😍

I just don't get how you can compare the two? Even though they are being filmed in a similar way they are quite different from each other. And I love that!! 😊 The fact that they are going at 2 different speeds (gameboys is def a fastburn & hello stranger looks to be a slow burn) and have 2 very different storylines is what keeps me coming back to both shows.... who on earth wants to watch 2 shows that are the same? 🤷♀️

I've watched so many BL series from Thailand and Taiwan. But I must say, Hello Stranger is promising. I just hope, hindi mahilaw ang pagkakakuwento ng love story para lang masabing may dalawang lalaking nagka-inlove-an. But so far, it piqued my interest. And I personally like the pacing. Hindi pilit. Tama lang.

Have you heard of unsolicited advice? Sometimes someone needs to stir your own cauldron. Meaning, a third party is needed to approach you with his/her opinion even if you don't ask for it coz sometimes, you might find the answer through his/her words. Though in Mico's case here, he just said things he shouldn't have said. He has good intention but he chose the wrong words.

Hello Stranger: We get to see how Mico is “falling” for Xavier from the first 2 episodes.
So I think the pacing (though very slow) is just right. It would be very awkward and weird if either Mico or Xavier becomes very aggressive with flirting towards the other right away. And Xavier has a girlfriend for goodness sake 😂
Though I must say that the series is very promising. And I hope they would pick up next episode 🤞🏻

Let’s all be honest, some of you dislike the pace because we got used to gameboys’ fast pace. I actually love this-slow and somehow realistic. The ambiance was realistic. And it feels like you can connect with all the elements of the show.

Both paces are good especially since the plots are entirely different. HELLO STRANGER is about two guys working on a project and accidentally falling for each other, no one can rush that. GAMEBOYS needs to be fast-paced since one character went into the interaction with intent of getting the other, one needs to be aggressive. BOTH WORKS! AND I'M HERE FOR IT. LOVE THESE PINOY BLs. 😍
