I have watched A LOT of camper van videos and this was the best what comes to plumbing and water systems. Extremely well explained and some details I could not found in other videos.
I spent some time measuring up for my tanks and tried to order a Melro tank such as the grey water one on this build. I was told they do not deliver to NSW from Melbourne? I ended up using Atlas tanks, no problem. Great information in this upload, thanks!
Yes i had the same problem but the way I got around that was by organising my own courier to pick up the tank from Melbourne and deliver to Sydney. It was a bit of a pain but worth it in the end.
It looks like a different filler port than in the description. Can you update the descriptions to be the same? I’m planning on doing the same setup as you, thanks!
Amazing video! Wondering, why the fresh water tank is installed on the passenger side? That makes the fresh water inlet to be on the passenger side as well, but when you in a camp ground all hookups usually go to the driver’s side.
Missing expansion tank after pump. The pump will cycle too many times. I also put a filter after the pump, the water tastes better after coming from the tank. Otherwise nice info.
There is a pressure switch in the pump itself which turn off the pump when the pump builds pressure in the line i.e when you close the tap. Then when the tap is open, pressure drops in the line and the pump turns on
Unreal video mate! Quick question where did you run your hose to your grey water from the sink ? Did you run it underneath the van and comming through the floor with all your other hoses or did you go up through the floor on the passenger side and run in under your floor ? Cheers
I ran the grey water down the RHS cavity with the rest of the hoses, to get the hose to the other side of the van. You will need to run it over the drive shaft and exhaust. Protect the hose from the heat by wrapping it in alloy foil.
Yeah beauty thanks mate the only issue I was worried about was as the hose comes out the RHS cavity and before it goes up over the exhaust there looks to be a low point and as it’s gravity fed was unsure if it was going to back up and no pass through did you have any issues ? cheers
Hi Marcel, I've downloaded your plumbing diagram, thanks for the great info/detail. Where did you get all your connectors from ie 19x13mm nut. I have found some items from Bunnings but not everything. Thanks, mate!
thank you so much! I really appreciate the detailed wealth of info and happy that I discovered your channel. Hope I will be able to contact you later for consulting service.
I noticed in one of your earlier videos you had different fittings ie plastic fittings and nylon hosing etc and in this new one it looks like everything is brass. Is that overkill or did you have some leaks and decide to switch due to the pressure on the pipes?
Yes that was early on in the piece where I tried to get away with the nylon tubing. Well turns out you can’t! It’s not going to hold up to the constant pressure and with the tubing being layer behind walls I really wanted something I could trust not to leak. Hence going for the house hold rated Pex. Glad I did as I don’t have to ever think about it leaking/ busting

Glad it was helpful!
Best breakdown Ive seen so far. Was like oh yeah water systems are simple...oh wait how does any of this work
The BEST system I've seen! Very well described.
Glad you think so!
Bruh you have no idea how long I’ve searched for a video about HOW to do the plumbing and electrical 😩
Hope you find your answers in my video!
Great video mate. This is just what I was looking for. Not to much brain overload, well explained, and the diagrams on your webpage is a great idea.
Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback
Great video! Thanks for posting :D
Kia Ora, Very informative, straight to the points with no side tracking and just the info I needed. Nga mihi 👍👍

Thank you. Just what we needed.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Marcel loving the videos. I wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for you! Really appreciate it :D
No worries! I’ve got some updates to these videos coming out soon too!
Only thing that I see missing is valves for "winterizing". Where do they go and how do you "winterize". TIA
FANTASTIC system though!!!!
The good thing is that we don’t need to winterise anything in Australia!

Because the fuel tank is on the other side, also we never stay at camp sites.
Great video! Seeking source for the "ultra low profile water trap". Thanks!
I bought mine from a local plumbing shop called Reece plumbing.
Another really helpful video, thanks Marcel! I reckon $20 is a really reasonable price to pay for your research and expertise.
Thanks guys. Appreciate it ☺️
not sure if your pump and accumulator are the same but both links lead to the same thing. Thanks for all the great vids!
Oh yes my mistake thanks for picking that up. All fixed now!
Great video, thank you so much
You are welcome!

I have just a simple question... How the pump starts working when we open taps ... And stops working when we close taps
There is a pressure switch in the pump itself which turn off the pump when the pump builds pressure in the line i.e when you close the tap. Then when the tap is open, pressure drops in the line and the pump turns on
good explanations, well done

Try Reece plumbing or Tradelink. They have a much larger plumber assortment than bunnings
I like the monitors
They are really essential!
Thanks mate great stuff
No problem 👍
