Excellent video Johnny . Some on the water videos this winter demonstrating different retrieves would be great . Thanks for the video and tight lines !
I find that its hit or miss, I still have lost lures, you almost need to be straight up and down for it to work and depends on the lure and how buried it is. On windy days I have a hard time keeping the boat and getting the lure to go all the way down.
Great video, Johnny. I don't have any +2s but I will get some. You spoke of not using forward facing sonor sometimes. We'll I have not gotten it yet. With that, my problem is setting up on the fish I find on mega down and SI. You have some great videos on finding fish or structure with sonor. But I have never had good luck casting to them after I find them. In a future video, when you are going over finding the fish, will you show us in more detail how you change up, turn around, and get your cast on top of the fish? I tend to cast all around them and not get bit. I loose perception of where they were. I see all that water and can't pin point where the structure is. Any thoughts?
One suggestion is instead of FFS which I know is the go to today, but you can get a really good deal on Bird's m360 and while it will not show you real time info it does display structure so you can make more accurate casts. Your other option is to mark the structure with a maker buoy. If you have Bird units you may be able to find a m360 unit used even cheaper.
I don’t have any +2’s but I have changed some of my Vision 110 hooks to the Gamakatsu #2 treble hooks to get it a little deeper and still keep the same side to side action and “roll”. After testing in my neighbors pool and they looked great so I took them to the lake and got some great hookups. Ever tried that? Also, I’ve always thrown jerk baits on spinning rigs for longer casts, thoughts?
Hey Jonny really like your videos but I know I've said it before and maybe most do not care but I get it that megabass makes some good lures but $25 at least to me is bridge to far. It would be really nice if you could have cheaper alternatives like sixth sense etc. I know I would appreciate and maybe others a cheaper option, maybe its not as well made etc, but having a cheaper option would be really nice to have.
I talk about the Spro McStick+1 as an alternative in this exact video to address your concern. The bait is $12 right now on a few websites. Please watch the entire video before commenting.
@@FishtheMoment I watched the whole video like I do all your videos, but I must have missed it not sure you needed to say watch the whole video before commenting reply. The fact is many of us do not fish tournaments and just trying to learn more to catch more fish. The Spro McStcik+1 is still not what I would call a inexpensive bait at $16. I have a Basspro near me and picked up a couple of XPS steardown 110+1 baits at $9. Sorry about the miss and will just not comment in the future.
Sorry, didn't mean to come off as rude. I've tried several jerkbaits under $10 and the only one I can recommend is the smithwick rogue. I really like the Perfect 10. I caught my PB and only bass over 10lbs on it.
I like that comment! You don’t like that everyone found out about your jerkbait! So what makes you think anyone will believe you about any baits you recommend, since you keep your baits a secret? You fit right in with the rest of the pro’s, try to sell your viewers baits you don’t really use! LMAO 👎
I use these baits in my videos on Fish the Moment all the time. I also show exactly where I’m fishing on a contour and Google Earth map. Not sure how that counts as hiding anything…

Would like to see you do a retrieve video on it like you mentioned.
Actually, the +3 is the deepest in their lineup. I order mine from Singapore. I can't seem to find them in the US
The Hound Dawg has saved me so much money.

Nothing beats a 110..even Van Dam got caught on camera using them even though he promotes another brand
The deepest diving jerkbait in Megabass line is the Vision OneTen R+3 😉
Where can I get these?
👍👍👍👍👍

@@BassFishingDeclassified No worries, appreciate the reply and suggestion.
Iv been cracking bills with the regular 110 are the +2 more durable ?
Yeah I’ve had the same problem with the 110’s, but I haven’t broken bills on the 110+2 so far.
