I just wanna say that im grateful for videos like these this young man is sharing his knowledge which most people do not do. Thanks brother for a job well done amd thank you for having the courage to share what you learned with us.
I love your style of teaching where you show all the mistakes along the way. Anyone can teach how to do a move but it's never that simple in real time and knowing the potential mistakes beforehand makes for quicker progress. You said somewhere that N-S is a strong part of your game. It's a weak part of mine so any videos on that would be great. Thanks.
Tried this today, actually got the pass on somebody and it helps to have a checklist to work from as opposed to trying the same stuff over and over and getting swept 😊
After forgetting about your channel for a few months i made my return to see your outstanding work. As an old guy and small white belt will see if I can implement your concepts and see some improvements.
Hilarious dude, appreciate the breakdown. We worked the north-south pass in class to many times alot of the other bluebelts will shoot their hips over my head and go for a back take. Leaned to really use my underhooks and drive into their hips with my head to drag them back down. Good shit keep it up.
great humor and editing and knowledge of your jounrey shared. I feel my game is a lot better even just trying to go for that style of pass, I am beating this higher ranked/weight friend sometimes now when before I'd like never win haha
Great tutorial! I saw this yesterday, and applied, AND WORKS! I need a lot more of work (bc im a white belt) but i feel more secure! Thanks from Argentina!
This is awesome. I love that you have defined goals, rather than a series of steps from a technique. That way, we get to see how you accomplish the goals in live training, and it doesnt always look the same. This is the future of instructional content.
great video bro; both educational AND entertaining! ive seen this guy on other bjj youtubers channel, just now seeing one of his own vids; wish i had come across one sooner, keep it up!
I don't often comment to complement people... but this is good information and very entertaining. As my guard passing has developed I too have noticed how critical it is to work to north south to finish many passes, especially outside passes. Controlling their hips is key. Also, the north south choke is there very often, and when it's not, you have opened up options to work back to knee on belly or side control. Your presentation here was great.
Hips don’t lie! Good stuff bro, how do you avoid and escape legs when they get your ankle? I can usually come up, but get stuck in that position and they eventually break me down and leg lock me
Watched last saturday, applied today monday. Fucking works! Maybe the "mission" hits the spot.
That’s fuckin sick bro 🔥
Sus when Carson lands a takedown
Face him again now he's gotten better he might give you a run for your money
Omg what’s up
3:35 - "You're a squirrel and it's time to hibernate." Perfection!🤣

Missed it first time around, so it may be worth highlighting: “having a superior angle just means I’m past my opponent’s hip line” 2:16

As a 1 stripe white belt, I’ve noticed a pattern in jiu-jitsu: you get better by learning sus techniques

Do you do this pass in gi with a pants grip
I cannot explain to you the power of Gi passing. The guard is dead 💀
On the video coming out tomorrow I’ll have a roll in the Gi and explain a few reasons why the Gi is superior for outside passing
BJJ will tennyson vibes
Mikey #1 guard player then Gabriel is just Ffion's boyfriend 😭😭
I practice the 69 guard pass with my girlfriend
Excellent video. Extra kudos for keeping jiu jitsu gay lol
can you do one on knee cut as well?
Friday 😉
So... To pass guard, the better way to do it it's to get as queer as possible? Fair enough 😂
The moment we all sat in closed guard for the first time we accepted this fate 😂
@@Carsahh it's like: Excuse me gentleman... May I have a sniff on your balls while I shove my groin at your face? 🤣🤣🤣
