Sorry about the video being kind of weird I got talking about stuff at the school and then it became more of a pain to edit it all out so the video just became story time
its okay nick its nice you have a interest i have a interest in my school my school is only up the hill so it doesnt take me far to get to it i do go and check on it when i go to work im a key holder / care taker at a building i just got this job and i collect my keys on wednesday
Nix I loved this video as well. Especially when you show the tower doorway. Having the door handle with the key in able to reach over to the other side to unlock it manually. Very good and very funny.😂😂😂😂😂😂
completely random question. what's the difference of windows 7 personal and windows 7 pro? and at 0:27 the breathing in the cold made me curious what would happen if i turned on a hairdryer on outside in the cold. i think it has something to do with the moisture so it probably wouldn't do anything
As long as he follows some pretty basic precautions, it will be just fine. Simple things like don't use it for email or web surfing. He's mentioned before that this PC is a dedicated system for only the access control application (which I believe also works with Windows XP). Seems pretty logical to me to use an older PC that would otherwise be destined for the scrapyard to extend it's useful life for use with a dedicated application with little to no access to the Internet. Why spend the money to upgrade what looks like an old Dell Optiplex that probably can't even handle a Win 10 upgrade? If he also keeps the endpoint protection up to date (as long as it also supports Windows 7) that will be an added defence along with a good router/ firewall.
Hey nick im going live on my RUclips on friday im gonna be talking about your RUclips channel i do door closers and all sorts wondered if you could join ill be at work and will also be sharing the British fire doors and closers and fire alarm system. i really enjoy your channel
thats why i dont use wireless cctv systems i USE DVR as if power goes off than the hard drive still reccords ete also if internet when it goes off as well i like wired bnc cables cctv cameras much better
just a random thing. be careful about showing your keys on camera because someone can screenshot them and 3d print a key and get to your stuff. i guess that's the good thing about access control. no keys
@@applebottomjeans7145 I will one day I have to show my expansion I did to the access control system too at some point maybe I will show both at the same time I haven’t even recorded the video yet

His name is nic not nix
@Goofy-ahh-veshremy it was a typo give them a break
I like these stories. You should make a series and just post videos of stories every once in a while
Maybe I should do that
@@nics-systems-electric i think you should
@@nics-systems-electricyes please do
You should think about adding a roof to your tower just to protect the pull station, and the camera.
You are about to hit 4K subscribers!
Yeah I’m getting closer
The good youtubers barely have subscribers the bad youtubers always get alot of views your one of the good youtubers Nic!

I have no idea what the differences from the windows systems I don’t think hairdryer in the cold would do anything as there would be no moisture
Windows 7 pro has more features
5:17 exposed wire = gfci tripped
That is not connected
probably not going to get a response, but what brand is your RFID scanners for the access control system?
I don't remember might be explained in my videos on the system
Nice video! What software are you using on the computer at 7:25?
Yi camera
@@nics-systems-electric windows 7 that was my child hood
07:23 It's really crazy to see that you're on Windows 7 in 2021. Now we have Windows 11 as of Tuesday October 5th 2021
Doesn’t matter for me as I only use it for running access control program and security cameras

"Welcome to Jackass, this is the gate rider!"
I was thinking, maybe you should install a slide off of the tower for easy exit.

Pretty cool video, kinda sucks how there’s so much crime right behind your house though lol
Kind of entertaining too

If you have any on a UPS as I do, otherwise that doesn't help you any. But much easier to have a UPS for one centralized system than every camera.
@@nics-systems-electric i mean i do door closers ete in the uk we use bnc Hikvision at my work and its a pretty good system
So your real name is Nic huh? I like it!
Yes sir
Is it fun messing with the crims?

That’s fine the only key that you can get the bitting off is the Schlage sc1 for the Tower which is only for the tower
@@nics-systems-electric ok, stay safe and have fun out there
Why are you running windows 7 in 2024?
The video was posted October 25, 2021… But because it still works fine.
Potato 🥔
Yes
Why are you useing windows 7
Because it’s an old computer and that’s all I need
