Just ordered mine. I’m a lefty and play lefty, so I always find it interesting watching a righty play. Paul McCartney is my favorite bass player. Jimi was actually right handed but played lefty (guitar).
Thanks for a very nice review/demo of this interesting amp!!... Would this work well with a Fender Bass VI, (Baritone) guitar?... I just put this amp on my "wish list", now!!...
Looks like a lovely bedroom practice amp. I’m thinking of buying the studio 40. About this video, the noise gate that was used on the audio, cutting off speach and creating dead moments was making me very nervous. There still are some short moments were a lot of noise can be heard. What was the reason? Netfrequency coupling? Bad cable? The amp at full volume?
I have the same amp, I love it but I have the same issue, once I get past 30 on the presets they are all labeled EMPTY up 60. I just made my own additional 30 presets and named them myself.
Yeah it shouldn't be a problem. Bass amps and speakers can take guitar frequencies just fine. Whether it will sound good or not is a different matter. It's geared to different frequencies than a guitar.
This just sold me on the amp. Just getting back into bass after many years and this seems like a great place to dip that toe back in the water.
Way to go having a guitar player give his opinion of the stuff.

@@nachovski ive read many mixed feelings about it online, still wondering if i should consider it as option or just save a little more
Sold me on the TOOL!!
I have a Rumble 500 it rocks
I has an Rumble Studio 40, it almost has the same great tone and effects.
It seams like a great amp, but how is it unmiked? That’s the proper way to show it’s capabilities.

What kind of mic is being used to record? Sounds fantastic.
Tell Anthony Jackson and Chris Squire that. who said that's cheating?

Too many FX bassed presets and not enough actual amp models in the demo…. Shame. As what was hearing was okay.
He tried really hard not to break out 46 and 2
If only it had a Bluetooth connection...
i think studio 40 has one, not sure tho
Boy almost 6 minutes of bloody bla before we come to what's matter.

Is it safe to plug a guitar on that?
No
