It's come to my attention that this video has garnered a lot of attention from those who disagree with me. I'm always happy to hear differing opinions, but from the responses I've received, I'm starting to believe that people are interpreting what I'm saying as a personal attack on them for liking the show. I must emphasize that that was NOT my intention. I realize I'm coming off a little brash, but that was purely for comedic value, and by no means do I mean to be punching down on anyone who enjoys this show. I am simply not one of those people and was not aware of the cult following this show has gained. Hats off to everyone who had a good time with Agatha All Along, but if you disagree with me and feel compelled to voice that in this comment section, please keep the disagreement about the show, not me. I've had a lot of people insulting my channel, video, editing, etc. which I find very childish and unnecessary. I see no reason for insults to be lobbed at me or my channel over a subjective opinion on a television series. As I said in this video, it's just a show, not the most important thing in the world.
I can assure you, I'm not rage baiting. This is my honest opinion of this show. If you want rage bait, there's about a thousand other channels on this platform that go much further than I did. Sorry we don't agree, but I appreciate you at least giving my vid a chance
I honestly agree bro! I absolutely hated this show so much. I don't think it's the worst (I find she hulk worse tbf), but it's on the levels of Black Widow imo. I'd describe it in four words. Boring, cringe, aimless, and pandering. Allow me to elaborate. No one asked for Agatha and Death to become lesbian with each other. THEY WERE NEVER LESBIAN IN THE COMICS! In fact, Death actually had a love triangle with Thanos and Deadpool. She even had connections to cosmic entities like Eternity. But the MCU ruined her character. They reduced her into a lesbian witch with no connections to any of such characters. That proves my point that this feels more like forced diversity and pandering agenda, which they have been doing for the past 3 yrs. The story was pretty boring and feels aimless; the twists were unsatisfying and predictable, and they added nothing to the narrative at all. And it's a continuation of the WandaVision trilogy, right? Well, apparently, the story didn't age well. The dialogue, I also found it to be absolutely cringey; the Ballad song was catchy, but repetitive, which further added to me not liking the show. And these ppl who insult you for having an opinion need to just get a life.
@@noobmaster69426 yeah I honestly liked Black Widow but I’ll admit it’s flawed. This show doesn’t feel as insulting as She-Hulk (I agree that one is worse), but it definitely wasn’t for me. This clearly found its audience, but I wasn’t it.

I’m an avid film buff who watches just about everything from every genre and is more than willing to give a project a chance despite any prior reservations I may have going in. The fact of the matter is, Agatha All Along was not something I enjoyed. It didn’t work for me thematically, it didn’t hold my interest as a week to week to show, and just about everything that it “foreshadowed” was either blatantly obvious or spoiled for me going in. I made that clear in my review. I found much of the writing either bland or not very impactful. This show was all over the place in terms of quality and structure, having many episodes basically follow the same formula, and having a conclusion to the main conflict come in the second to last episode only for the finale to be both an origin explanation as well as a epilogue/set up for another spinoff project. It’s ok if we disagree, I’m realizing a lot of people liked this, but I’m not one of them. And to answer your question, I don’t know what specifically you’re looking for to qualify me as a “critic.” I never went to film school. This isn’t my career. Reviewing movies/TV are a hobby and a passion of mine. I’m just a guy expressing my thoughts and trying to make it mildly entertaining. I wouldn’t say I’m anywhere near the Siskel and Ebert status, but I’d like to think I offer at least some justification for the way I feel about a film or show

Not liking the show is one thing, but stuff like getting actual plotpoints wrong, or not understanding whether the overacting in ep 1 was intentional, just makes this video worthless as a review.

And I’m sorry but if the show is going to be a satire piece in the first episode, then why was everyone playing it straight meanwhile Kathryn Hahn was the only one hamming it up? Don’t you think that’s a fault of the director not keeping the rest of the talent on the same wave length? It just felt like the tones were clashing hard and it didn’t make sense
