கேரள மாநிலம் வயநாடு மாவட்டம் கனமழை மற்றும் நிலச்சரிவால் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அங்குள்ள மேப்பாடி, சூரல்மலை, முண்டகை, அட்டமலை உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு இடங்களில் ஏற்பட்ட நிலச்சரிவால் குறைந்தது 150 பேர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளனர்.
நிலச்சரிவு காரணமாக நொடிப் பொழுதில் வீடுகள், கடைகள் உள்ளிட்ட கட்டங்கள் மண்ணுக்குள் புதைந்துவிட்டன.
ராணுவம், பேரிடர் மீட்புப் படையினர், மாநில தீயணைப்புத் துறையினர் மற்றும் உள்ளூர் மக்கள் மீட்புப் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர். ஹெலிகாப்டர் உதவியுடன் மீட்புப் பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன.

The central government gave an initial 670crs for the flood in Chennai and for the remaining amount they have asked the audit bill of 5000crs that have been given to the built water drain system in Chennai,. But still the state govt hasn't submitted any audit report yet ? Ask them why if the state govt is innocent and righteous why not submit the audit

No, they are only asking the audit report for their previous fund and how effectively they have been used, what is the problem the most righteous State government to submit the audit report, by the claims they are anti corruption and devoted their live to state people right then submit the audit and get the remaining funds , if the audit submitted and the central still denied the release of funds you can accuse them but otherwise you know where the problem lies

Keep the Jharkhand aside here the question is Why Kerala govt didn't act on the warning given beforehand? , in all disasters it will take many hour for the NDRF to arrive at the scene but in Wyanadu case the NDRF have been held on hold by since 28 th July in Kerala. After the incident they immediately started to act , which clearly tells that center notification for the disaster has been neglected by the Kerala govt.
