The 2003-ga was the 49th single-seater constructed by Ferrari to take part in the world Fomula 1 Championship
The thinking behind the car was the same as for the F2002: optimisation of air flow, weight reduction and lowering of the centre of gravity. The rear end was revised and the suspension modified to get the best out of the Bridgestone tyres. The engine underwent a process of reducing the clutter even more and to fine tune the weight distribution. 2003 was a championship that went down to the last race in Suzuka but ultimately Schumacher took his 6th Drivers’ title (beating Fangio’s record) and Ferrari won its fifth straight Constructors’ crown.
The "GA" in the name stands for Gianni Agnelli, the boss of the FIAT group at the time, who passed away in january of 2003.

i was at the British grand prix 2003, and ill never forget the sound of those cars!!! Sooooooooo loud it made my whole body shake when they passed!!! Todays cars have no soul.

Same for me. I was at the 2003 German GP in Hockenheim, just at the end of the long straight before the hairpin. My body would shake as the cars passed and the downshifts sounded like grenades impacting.
I was lucky enought to attend the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed where they did a Michael Schumacher tribute with a handful of his iconic F1 cars...
@@MotorScottiI was at Goodwood in 2019 too and saw the tribute to Michael; it was excellent to see the F2004 go up at nearly full speed. Ross Brawn was there outside the Brawn tent which was cool too.

I was at the 2002 USGP and I vividly remember laughing at the earplug guy and waiving him past. The moment the lights went out, I was ready to pay anything. Lol. It was physically PAINFUL how loud and piercing a full grid of those v10’s were. It literally shook you to your core. I’ll never forget it until the day I die.
@Eruption Honestly I think it was either A1GP or DTM where I did the same thing and they were actually painfully loud at the time.

A 1998 Lexus ES300 sounds like a race car compared to a V6 F1 car.
I mean the turbo hybrid v6 didn't sound bad but will never come close to v12 , the red bull v8 and the greatest machine ever built f2004 v10 that thing is music to my ears man

Pretty sure i put the F2003 livery on the Ferrari Enzo when i was meant to put the F2002 livery. But it was almost the same livery so im not gonna bother changing it lmaoo
F2003 was trash compared to F2002 and F2004, it nearly lost the Championship that year. Williams was faster for half the season. F2001 isn't that wow either even thought is was great. But only F2002 and F2004 were truly dominant cars. Meanwhile W05, W06, W07, W10, W11 with Mercedes... and now RB18 and more RB19 with RB...
