I was lucky to find them in the fridge. They were cold perfect in size and didn't quite make the end of the day if you know what I mean. Thanks for watching.
It will good to see a long-term how long it lasts, hopefully, quite some time and is my new addition to my off-grid camping experience is some would say 😄 thanks for watching
Thanks Lady for watching I just thought I would use the flexible solar panel. Those glass panels are quite heavy on the Flexi solar panel is my best option. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts on the roof. I'll let you know. Thanks for watching
Thanks, Dave, There is a gap between the solar panel and the roof. I used some of that sunlight panelling which will hopefully help with the airflow and find out when I go away with some good mates on Australia Day.
If you've got the room and your solar controller can handle the voltage, house panels are probably the best option. They sell plenty of them, so the price per watt are leaps and bounds ahead of "camping" panels and they can afford to put more R&D into the panels, because of the volume they sell, so they're more efficient than most camping panels as well. What sort of panel is that? Mono crystalline? Looks weird! 😅
Yes thanks Terry. Looking forward to August as well. Just one of the new additions to the camper at work fantastically well over the weekend. Thanks for watching
Great job with the solar panel installation. I love the beer can weights unfortunately it would not have lasted long with me around. Cheers mate I brought the kings 160 W panel and put on the roof of the Fj it pumps up to 10 /11amps been very happy with it 👍
The beer was a great addition to the solar panel. Problem is not all the beers made it that day. Was off grid for five consecutive days and panel performed fantastically well more than happy to be interesting to see the long Jevity of the flexible panel. Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next video
G'day Ed What you can do with beer cans and water bottles😉 I hope it's going to work out for you mate I wasted many hundreds of dollars on flexible panels. I would never buy them again
Desperate times call for desperate measures the hardest part was not drinking all the cans afterwards.😀 but it wasn't through lack of trying. I'll see how this Flexi solar panel travel should be addressing. Thanks for watching Jack.
Thanks Trevor the only thing it's really powering is the fridge a sirocco fan and maybe the TV that's inside of the camper about an hour . Worked fantastic over the long weekend. Keep the juice in the battery thanks for watching
Whatever you do, don't buy King's solar blankets - that are utter rubbish. We have a King's fixed (solid) panel that works well but their blankets are totally unreliable.
Haha love the strategic use of the Great Northern's 😉

Good review Ed . Solar panel looks good on the roof of the new camper.👍👍🍻🍻

Great looking camper, the flexible solar panel is a great addition.

@@eds4wdcamping yeah I have heard that the longevity and output isn't as good but much lighter and more convenient.
You put a lot of thought into this. Excuse the surprise. Great work.
Yeah I know I was inspired by another great RUclipsr to get this done right.
Good one Ed . Should keep the power up.. A gap would have been nice between the panel and roof to dissapate heat but looks like not an option for you.

If you get a chance Ed, can you film working with charge in and charge out? Able to compare on a good and bad day. Great video though..
I've got one of those metres it will measure input and output. I'll give a shot next time. I'm out camping and see how it goes. Thanks for watching
G'day Ed

Good job,, what are you powering? Fridge and lights?

That’s is supposed to be good luck if a bird crapes on a clean car
Well it’s been lucky so far

It was never going to be Kings was almost tempted, but had to run out of store screaming no no no thanks for watching what's in the next video?
