have you considered taking a piece of twine and stringing your mini scans up in day order? That way you can see how they grow and work with and off each other....
I remember watching your vlogmas a couple of years ago and loving them, but then I forgot your channel. So I am over the moon to have found you again! I cannot wait to binge all of these and I can’t wait until this years vlogmas! 😁
Hi from New Zealand, Laura. Thank so much for sharing your wintery Vlogmas with us. It’s my favourite one! I have been watching your podcast since the very first one and really admire what you do. I have just finished making your Petit Soufflé sweater for my grand daughter for Xmas. It’s gorgeous in 100% alpaca. Merry Christmas.
Entertaining and another joyful vlog. I so look forward to watching you in the evening. Its like I'm sitting, knitting and chatting with an old friend.
This is so lovely and cosy to watch! Christmas in Australia is very hot and smells of bushfires and wet grass after humid evening downpours, so we miss out on some of the “cosy” factor of Christmas. This is just lovely to watch!
I enjoyed watching vlogmas 1 and 2 this morning. It has been a busy start to December. I have now 3 yarn advent envelopes to open yet to get mine started. Worth the busy start because I have a natural felted sheep pelt drying in my bathroom as i write this. I started my December with a really fun workshop I took with a friend. Now i sit on the couch and catch up with vlogmas of which yours is an absolute favorite!! I just love hearing your kids saying happy Christmas at the intro. Hope your December brings you love joy and quiet family moments Laura! 🎄🧶
Hi Laura, great video as always. I have exactly the same advents as you! You mentioned making a shawl so I thought I’d share that I’m make one with my Fibre Fox advent. It’s the Solstice Engrain Shawl by Sarah Opie which is designed to fade so it’s perfect. Thinking of using some of my Botanical Yarns advent in a Stella Quilt cushion x
I got the fibre fox advent too! Planning to make the find your fade shawl by Andrea mowry and actually use the fibre fox dyer’s ravelry project adapted to an advent 🥰
Hi, Laura! If you’re still trying to choose a shawl pattern for your advent (I haven’t finished the vlog yet so you may already have by the end of it), I’d recommend the Anthology Throw pattern by Curious Handmade! It’s technically a blanket, but since it is in the shape of a circle, it can be easily folded in half and draped across the shoulders. I’m knitting it this advent in a fade set that is all pinks, and I think that the pattern lends itself well to fades!

Another great vlogmas Wishing you well Sue Ontario Canada
Have you worn sparkly socks? I'm scared to try because my feet are so sensitive to how yarn feels.
I did think about this. I intend to wear my black ones over tights!!
