the little icons switching between two sprite animations to 'dance' during their part
and when it gets to the part the blue one goes 'mesmerized', the red one keep doing that sprite that makes them look like shocked

The detail that Miku doesn't stop when the narrator says "stop" is cool, but also would trip up players if this were ever uploaded
i figured using the skipshot + having her beats temporarily land on teto's would at least partially mitigate that. i *am* in the process of fixing some small issues and improving the cues before releasing this. the level editor documentation is a tad outdated, and I'm not active enough in the RD community to look for help.
Brilliant chart, what annoys me is the fact that it makes sense to me if I watch it but I know for a fact this will kick my ass if I try play it 😅

I love how during the last park, Miku’s rhythm continued even during Teto’s part, resembling how she kept dancing in the actual song.

A few opinions on the charting:
-› "××-----" is unfair for players which rely on audio only and would get instantly rejected in peer review. Using "-×-----" would work better in terms of readability and gameplay.
-› Most of the oneshot parts for the most part seems way too...empty? It would benefit with a few more quick-ish classics and the like to complement the oneshots.
-› The beginning classics at the first feel quite empty, especially for the tempo and intensity of the song. Same goes for the syncopations (also, iirc they require being cued by the Syncopation Beeps)
-› 8-beat has...a different cue(?) and lacks a visual indication (aside from the beat row itself)
-› Multiple beats on one row is *really not a good idea.* One problem is 'shakeritis', wherein two beats have the same beatsound, which confuses audio-based players with the patterns of the beats. Also its just...very jank-ish visually
You could instead have two rows on top of each other (or one "None" row below the character's row) and then do some cool row movements.
Negatives aside, the visual effects are very cool. The adherence to the OG music video is very interesting in terms of how it translates into the game.
Gameplay is nice with a bit of polish, but it could be better imo.
-> in my defense i'm not very good at charting but yeah i felt like i could have done that better (and X-WOT does ××-----, so i thought it was okay. i probably should have used the counting cues, like that level does)
-> didn't want the chart to be too difficult because i'm kind of bad at RD (i had to use auto mode to get the footage for this)
-> see above (also, i forgot that you're supposed to cue syncopation because it's not in the RD editor gitbook and i don't like playing X-MAT)
-> i'm not active in the RD community, so i don't know if there's a "standard" way to do 8-beat
-> wanted to avoid clutter, and the oneshots do have different hitsounds. maybe i should have made them more distinct.
i tried to make the visuals as close to the MV as i could, within reason. i made the whole level in about a day, and i was *very* tired by the end of it.
if i release this, i'll probably tweak some things. thank you for the critique!

-› WOT cued the 5-beats using nurse counting + a unique beatsound beforehand so it's excusable
-› 8beat uses a custom sound file (check the discord for the file) and a red row.
-› I think that the difficulty shouldn't be a reason to restrict the charting of the map. You could always just make separate versions with varying degrees of difficulty so that you can make a chart that adheres more to the song if it truly bothers you (which, I suppose, can be understandable).
-› Synco uses the Synco Beeps in the Play Sound event (check the discord's pinned comments to check how it works, it's very confusing to put in one paragraph tbh).
-› Also, I forgot to write it, but you should cue the 3-beat hold row with Owl since most of the holds in your chart use 4-beat holds.
As a fellow RD level maker (albeit low-effort, minimal VFX ones), my advice is to just not care about difficulty (unless if it feels like you're over-adhering/it doesn't match the vibe of the song).

This is pretty good, all things considered!! This gives a huge pre-release vibe of the time when custom characters existed but decos didn't
If you polish up gameplay (which peeps in the discord would be happy to help you out with) I think you're on your way to make some nice looking levels!

The true challenge is perfectly doing the song while focusing on the mesmerizer at all times.
I don't go here (to Rhythm Doctor; I'm more of Rhythm Heaven type) but custom levels like this are so cool 😭 makes me wanna look into it tbh

i love the small detail right at the end of the final chorus where the blue rhythm bar keeps its beat, while the red one stops, since miku keeps on dancing, while teto stops

i don't know how to use window dance (not even well, just at all), and i find window dance levels near impossible to sightread (which is, admittedly, a skill issue)
