This hack with glass piece to hold it in place and moving with it freely is soooo great. I wish I saw this earlier, I had so much trouble with moving with little pieces like these. Definitely gonna use it next time. And those pins are so beautiful, you are amazing.
The subtletie "make it smooth like butter" is indeed 💜
I have an airdry clay too and i feel inspired in your videos. Your creations are all cute. Thank you for posting this! 😊
The pins are absolutely adorable. I made something similar in pottery class. I made pins, earrings, ornaments, and magnets. Of course, it was a 2-step process that required a kiln. Air dry clay looks a lot less troublesome.😊❤
My shop is OPEN NOW! 😍✨

That´s really nice!!!!
I used DAS air dry clay to decorate some pots and glued the clay on the pot with a glue gun then painted all with acrylic paint. They were meant for indoors only but got put outside in Pacific Northwest rainy weather for almost a year and are stil holding up beautifully! So painting your pins with acrylic paint and varnish would hold up fine if using DAS like air dry clay. I also let the clay dry out for about a week before painting.
imut banget kucingnya 💗💗 kebetulan sedang mau bikin clay bentuk kucing dan video kakak lewat. Makasih banyak✨ semangat berkarya selalu✨

👍🏼Thank you so much for sharing.
I’m wondering: when you first put the formed clay pieces on the acrylic block (or glass piece, I’m not sure of what it is) how do you unstick them without deforming them?
They’re not fully dried when you take them off, are they?
Since they’re not fully dried, I wouldn’t know how to pick them up without deforming them.
I would appreciate it if you could explain that.
Thank you very much.
the cats are all sooo cuteeee
DIY Air dry clay recipe:
1/2cup glue
1/2cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon of oil
1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice (substitutes for lemon juice: apple cider vinegar, regular vinegar, citrus)
Mix equal parts cornstarch and glue until its thick and runny like icing.
Add oil and lemon juice and mix until its basically the same texture as before.
Microwave (mine is 1000 watts) for 30 seconds. Mix. Microwave again for 30 seconds.
The mixture should have come away from the sides of the bowl and become quite thick. Mix it with a spatula or wooden spoon until it comes together, like dough.
Transfer to a non stick surface dusted in cornstarch. (i used parchment paper or cooking paper) Knead it until it is very soft and it can stretch.
Store it in an airtight ziploc bag with a small bit of oil coating the sides. Let your creation dry for anywhere from 12 to 36 hours.
Just 3 cornstarch and white glue and last baby oil more healthy
That's the recipe I use also! It's very good and the vinegar avoids fungi from growing into your clay :)
Makasih kak share ilmu nyaa🥰🥰🥰
very nice 😊
Those cats are so cuteeeeeeee
😊💙
Excellent
I'm curious, is it not okay to insert the back part of the pin into the clay directly? So you wouldn't need to use a glue gun for it to stick?
It's better to use acrylic because gouache doesn't keep it's colours very well when exposed to sunlight. If you want the matt finish you could use a matt agent for the acrylics.
Hi, what do you use to spray the gouache with? Love your work! They're so cute! ❤
かわいい😍
Wow! It's an awesome idea!🤩 Maybe as a suggestion: Could u pls do some air dry clay projects with Christmas 🎄theme? I would love to see those, thank you!🥺💖
oh! thanks for the suggestion!😍😍 I'll try to make it in my next video 💕
@@swieart Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! ☺️💖
hii! love the video!!
do you have any tips if you want to have more control on painting? like to be able to hold it without ruining the clay itself?
so cute!! but can i find out where you got the pins you pasted on the clay? thx
These are gorgeous! Do you use a particular hot glue brand for attaching the pins? I often find the hardest part is making the pin connection strong enough
재미있게 봤어요❤
❤love your work.. are these regular water colours or acrylic
I know I’m late, but I have the same pin backings, and when I hot glue them to the back, they slip right off, and take the paint off like skin, and some clay. I also tried super glue. I have ordered bigger backings with a larger surface. Could it be that I didn’t let the clay sit long enough? I let them sit for about 24hr but they were also a bit thin. I also use Crayola air dry clay. Thank you! :)
Hi I’m a big fan and I am inspired by you, I have a question, what else can I use instead of Varnish?
thanks for sharing have a question, we you remove the charm from the acrylic do you wait for it dry or how do you do so without messing up the shape
I was wondering about that too!
Hii I wonder how long you let the paint dry before applying the varnish? I try gouache, but the paint keep get smeared everytime I apply the varnish :'')
lovely work! what is the varnish you use?
I LOVEEE This! How did you make a the cards?
Do you need to wait the paiting to dry when you varnish?
What kind of paint did you use? And does the hot glue stay well enough? Do you think it would be a bad idea to stick the pin part into the clay before it drys?
I use miya himi gouache. I've tried it and it's strong enough, you can also use resin if you want ☺️ Idk I haven't tried it yet, but it's better to do it after the pin dries😉
@@swieart sweet, I’ll look into it. Thank you! ☺️ I’ve also thought about using resin but I’m not sure how I’d pour it in the like trays I make 🤷♀️ I’ll just have to do more research and trial and error
thanks a lot for sharing! this is just what i was looking for , also the designs are super cute!! just a question! is your varnish water-based? i made one clay pin painted with gouache too, but when i applied varnish it moved some parts where i painted... i wonder if i didn't let it dry enough?
Oh, we have the same problem!😂 Because gouache can be reactivated with water, the paint may 'fade' when you brush it. So i just 'tap-tap' my brush on the pins when I apply the varnish, don't rub it too rough
Same
You need to use acylic paint - which is waterproof.
So pretty 😊
Hi I would like to know if I should add some water when I condition the clay. And if I can use water colour to paint on it?
Can you make a toturial video of how do you make thoose cards??
Absolutamente fofos
❤
the varnish can use the spray one?
hi! how many clay pins did you make to 500g of clay? thank you
Does it get hard? And can i use latex glue instead of varnish? 😅
With the varnish can you just use a clear nail varnish?
How do you remove the shapes when they get stuck to acrylic sheet
What type of paint did you used to color on the clay
Hi, may I ask how you take your clay from the glass? The surfaces I used so far has been sticking a lot, I have to wait until they're dry to peel them out. Do they not stick on acrylic glass?
Hi!👋🏻 sometimes they stick on acrylic glass if I spray too much water when smoothing the surface, so make sure you don't put too much water. Or you can use plastic to make it easier to take the clay😊
@@swieart thanks so much for the tips, really love your channel ^^
Ur editing is cute 😢❤ can u say which app u use to edit video and thumbnail plss
Can we put layer resin after paint ?
Can we use acrylic paint instead??
Setelah dimasih vernish, apakah claynya tidak akan berubah bentuk lagi kak kalau terkena air?
What paint brushes are those?
I wanna get that kind of varnish cuz mine’s like a glue texture, it’s thick and kinda hard to work with
Can u pls share what is the name of those pins? I searched using keyword safety pins but the items shown was different kind pins
Я тут подумала. если эти значки уже продаются постоянно, то удобнее сделать литьевую форму и заливать жидкой глиной. Так они все будут одинаковыми и обработка будет быстрее
И так гвоздик можно будет делать внутри пина
So cute! Is that regular hot glue or special glue for clay?
It's a regular glue 😉
What type of glue do you use?
Can you share the link to the paint brushes you used for painting eyes and nose
Does these clay needs heating
What do you call the pin itself?
Question- is this pins are water proof
kak, buat amplasnya itu kakak pake yg tipe apa atau grit berapa?
What is the name of the glass thing you shape on it ?
Kedi kedi kedi 😸😸😸😸😸
DAS and Sculpey air dry clay are not available in my country....😔
Izin buat ya kak:)
Is it waterproof??
kakk itu pake kuas no brp aja ya? dari yg paling kecil
