Honestly this year has been such a good year to be a Ys fan. Not only did we get the brilliant Ys IX, we get this masterpiece of a album. I love this series so much! I am so HYPED for this album!
@@iPostiPodiEatiYuri Ys IX is very cutscene heavy compared to prior Ys Games so it's understandable that it can be hard to get into for some. I personally loved it although I still consider Ys VIII the better game. Doesn't help that you're in the city for such a long duration of the game.
I'm glad Marionette Marionette is acknowledged as being at its peak already. joking aside I'd love to hear how a mix would sound. But gonna enjoy these while they're here
I have the biggest smile on my face from Aprilis. It sounds gorgeous, I'm dying to hear the full version... Catch me if you can sounds unexpectedly great as well, and I'd say Balduq the Griever and Invitation to the Crimson Night are also stand outs for me. Goodness, this album is going to be so good!
I listened the preview....2 seconds later I preordered my copy! What a killer album preview we have here!!! Falcom did it again, it really sublimate the original soundtrack which is already awesome. Completely under the charm of "Crossing A/A" (clearly a great favorite of mine)and "Monstrum Spectrum" new versions, absolutely fantastic. Hands up Falcom.
It's super solid. Desert After Tears, Catch Me If You Can and Glessing Way! are great. Aprilis is so beautiful... Monstrum Spectrum is good but not as powerful as the original imho (still, i wanna listen to the full arrangement). Kind of impressive how King Jindo fixed (kind of, taking into account original compositions restrictions) Welcome to Chaos, Norse Wind & Catch Me If You Can. Quite nice seeing that durations for Monstrum Spectrum (5 minutes) and Desert After Tears (4 and a half minutes ).
This whole album is shaping up to be pretty great, but I'm excited to hear the full versions of Crossing A/A, Monstrum Spectrum, and Catch Me If You Can in particular!
Y'know, that Latin guitar in Crossing A/A gives off strong Shrine of Solomon vibes, at least for the Chronicles version. Granted, I'm pretty sure the Chronicles OST was done by Jindo too, so...
Funny how I could immediately tell Catch Me If You Can is a Singa track despite never listening to it. Wish I hadn't gone and looked up the original after listening to the arrange tho 💀 Still, huge step up from Ys VIII Super Ultimate where even Jindo wasn't at his best
@@di-gun5791 i can definetly see it,especially in Aprilis and Waltz of Blue Flowers. In fact, the more i listen to it,i feel like every track sounds a bit like another era of Ys music. That being said,i am not musically gifted, and im just going by the vibe each track gives me.
disagree, Welcome to Chaos is about as good as it can get, given what he was working with (the intro is definitely the highlight). Norse Wind with better instrumentation at the end is still sadly Norse Wind
@@YourVinished idk i was generally fine with norse wind outside of the loud ass piano; meanwhile i feel like the welcome to chaos arrangement doesnt rly fix its weird meandering, it sounds much better but i still dont like it.
@@maximinoe7307 True, the piano in Norse Wind was just nothing but incredibly muddy noise lmao. I just value the more ambitious arrangement on WtC than Norse Wind. He did something similar for Catch Me If You Can, but for some reason, I enjoy that rendition a lot more than Snore Wind

Nihon Falcom makes the best game music, each game plays like an opera!

The glow up on all three of those 🅱️inga's is absolutely wild. Jindo is just built different
Finally an album living up to its name!
THANK GOODNESS! FINALLY!!!! SUPER ARRANGES ALWAYS HIT HARD!!!
Can't wait for Crossing A/A full track.

相変わらずすごいですね。:D
耳が天国を彷徨う感じ!
You just can't go wrong with Yukihiro Jindo's arrangements!
This whole album is shaping up to be pretty great, but I'm excited to hear the full versions of Crossing A/A, Monstrum Spectrum, and Catch Me If You Can in particular!
Finally the ultimate version is here!
Arranged track 4 is god damn materpiece. Perfect guitar sound ever heard of
Y'know, that Latin guitar in Crossing A/A gives off strong Shrine of Solomon vibes, at least for the Chronicles version. Granted, I'm pretty sure the Chronicles OST was done by Jindo too, so...
I was thinking the same thing!
Yup, Jindo did 100% of the arranges on Chronicles 1 and 2
People says than the men who haves "Takahiro" in the name are destinied to be a legend Thanks for all Tsunashima and Unisuga
Thank you Jindo 😌👌
Super stoked to hear Cave of Groan and Evan Macha sheeeeesh
The main melody at 5:25 reminds me a bit of Palace of Solomon from Ys II
Beautiful. Hoping for Marionette Marionette and In Profile, on Belfry.
Bless Jindo
Awesome versions! Sold.
I thought you can't improve perfection, then this came out.
Jindo I kneel 🧎♂️
Glessing Way though...fire
I hope " Strategic Zone " will be added also
Now if Falcon could make a nice super arrange and extended version of to the future from CS4 I can die happy
Good Super Ultimate.
This is what the actual game ost should have been
This is a certified hood classic.

Jindo fix the chickens 🥰
JINDOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭😭
oh wow

Kingdo🙂
Jindo about to make Invitation to the Crimson Night the second coming of Termination (Origin ver), how can a man be so powerful?
I was thinking the same thing!
Yeah first thing I thought too
Holy shit jindo really fix no.4 soundtrack.
Its like water and oil haha....
Thanks.
Why isn't there a buy/pre order link in the description?
4, 8-10 are the only ones I enjoyed the rest are ok in my opinion.
I hope they fixed 'Feel Force'
mod this into the game **-** this iss true Ys music
Funny how I could immediately tell Catch Me If You Can is a Singa track despite never listening to it. Wish I hadn't gone and looked up the original after listening to the arrange tho 💀
Still, huge step up from Ys VIII Super Ultimate where even Jindo wasn't at his best
It almost looks like a ps1 cover

crossingA/Aのイントロで金爆連想してしまう。原曲の方も。
*throws money at JDK/Falcom*
too ban dont include THE CAVE OF GROAN.
New Ys game please
Sooo...
Ys IX if it was compossed like VIII?
Its really good,as it should be honestly
More like Ys Chronicles I think

wtf I expected this to be a full binga album
Jindo good. Shame he couldn't save Norse Wind 🗿
Dunno, he did a pretty job salvaging what he could. Guess you can only do so much when restricted by the original's composition.

I think I prefer the original version of Desert After Tears more rather than this one. Sounds too similar to the original.
