This one man crew is very efficient. Compactor driver doing a great job. Camera did not do justice showing slope at the barn. That is a lot of dirt. Thanks Chris. Hope we get to see Winston on Thanksgiving. He needs a tater tot.
It's all looking great! We are coming up on winter with some rainy down days. How about an update on the scale equipment collection. Would like to see how much you have added.
Best business investment was that haul truck! It really opened-up your capabilities, without it most all the jobs you've shown us the last 2-years would have been out of the question!👍
You should get someone to weld something like a 1/8" x 3/8" wide strip of steel over your decals on the side of the dump truck for a dirt shield. It would need angled down so it would deflect debri and water off to the side. The bottom side could be filled in with some 1/4" strip like key stock for strength so it doesn'tget squashed. All the dirt and rock falling down the edge is ripping the edge the decals all up after you spent so much time and money making it look nice.
It called knowing your machine,a be real smooth like I am with one big difference my machine is twice as slow as this one, and it’s Loosey-goosey when I got the machine and it’s unrepairable, but I’m smooth on it, lol thanks BigAl California
QUESTION: How much dirt can a man alone move in a day? ANSWER: Watch Letsdig18 and the man and his machines can move half of a planet in a day! Well done Chris.
These jobs always go through a period where it looks a right old mess, but they always workout well. I know as I used to operate machines shifting muck & soil. Trying to build up a haul road by 3ft is difficult when there is 5ft chunks of rock being sent with the smaller spoil lol
Greetings from Australia. Love watching your videos, as having been in the construction industry I have always thought that a 20 ton excavator was the ideal size machine but seeing how your efficiently has increased with the 330 is amazing, bigger bucket, greater breakout and extended reach certainly means more dirt moved. Keep up the great content. Cheers Rodney
Another enjoyable video on this project bro, I have a feeling the 330 is going to be used more than you had planned but time will tell I guess. Safe travels. Ken.
Kris over in Australia engineering inspection will not pass because each layer you put down you have to knock it out flat than you have to give it a really good water then you uses the pay foot as you guys know it as sheep foot on vibrateshion each layer and then when you get to the last layer instead of a sheep foot you use a smooth drum roll and then you let e bake and it will go rock solid like a rock
More big projects like this and you may have to invest in another haul truck. Sure you can't run two plac s at the same time, but you won't have to delay a larger project because your one truck is on a site and may be there for another month.
42 loads jeez - that's a lot of times climbing up , in and off x2 .I guess this how a crop field is prepared , they first come in and level off everything cutting off a few feet here and moving it there . I never thought of that .
Between that friggen monster of a excavator and the D7 Chris might have to get himself a next size up field truck to handle the amount of dirt he can dig up. Keeping the smaller onefor smaller jobs or on really big jobs run them both. Absolutely no doubt that the 330 can fill them fast enough neither will be idle waiting to be loaded. Bummer I'll be busy tomorrow night and have to wait till Sunday to watch tomorrow's episode.
If space aliens visited us 50 years ago and came back again today, they wouldn't recognize your area of the country - what with all the re-arranging you have done.
Man, you sure get a lot done by yourself Chris !! What was it 62 loads in a couple days, plus knocking it down , and packing it !! Your getting after it Man !! lololol... Got it coming on a long for sure... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Weekend, And Evening, And, On too the Next !!
This grading Job to signify a great Earth alteration! You load Haul Truck about Haul Truck and Drive the Earth to a Other Place! Grading and Roll there the Areal round the Barn. This Work to rule You Perfect. Thanks for this Video, and I gladden my of the next Videos. 👌
Hey Chris, Why Don't You Load From The Backside Of The Truck Instead From The Side? Much Easier To See, And Load Just As Much, If Not More!! Thanks Brother!!
@letsdig18 Chris, do you leave the 330 idling when you're making the round-trip with Barney? I can understand you turning off the 330 when you go do the dozer and compaction work to save hours on the machine and diesel fuel.
I never see you using a water truck to wet the dirt for compaction, is it not needed in your climate? Here in AZ we have to use alot of water for dust control and compaction.
Ahh--Friday in Vancouver at 1:30 PM. Got most of my errands done for today and it is time sit back and watch Chris at work, which is always interesting.
There’s a contrast. It’s 8:00AM Saturday morning here in eastern Australia. My errands are about to begin - after I’ve watched Chris push some dirt around.
@martingardener90 thanks Martin not long of getting out of the hospital with left knee shattered, left arm broken in two places, and three broken ribs on left side of course, and a big knot on my head, was T-boned at a traffic light thankfully I had the green light a long recovery time ahead. So I'm sure that I'll catch up on Chris, once again thanks...
CHRIS I have a serious question. Why do you operate with the doors and windows open. I hate it when dust and dirt get in my cab and I hate breathing in all that dust while running.
330's so quiet you can barely hearvit running? Ive been out of commision for several months. The last l watched his videos biggest thing he had was a 220. Does his Uncle John still help out some.
What would be the right area to look for ,if your excavator slows down a ton, and it take 1 hour to get it to where it will move faster ??? Thanks buddy happy thanksgiving BigAl California…praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
Have you considered filming with a 50mm lense? The camera you use gives a slightly fish-eye view and makes it difficult fot us viewers to gauge the rise and fall of the land.
Never tire of watching digging hauling and grading. Always something new to see or learn. ❤❤❤❤
This one man crew is very efficient. Compactor driver doing a great job. Camera did not do justice showing slope at the barn. That is a lot of dirt. Thanks Chris.
Hope we get to see Winston on Thanksgiving. He needs a tater tot.
You make it look easy. Love watching you sculpt dirt, you do it so well. Thanks for sharing.
Efficiency is the key. You definitely have the key. Nice to load the truck that fast and still accomplish so much as the driver as well
looking fantastic, you do an amazing amount of work, thanks for sharing..
That’s what you call maximizing your haul!! Project coming along!!
It really is awesome seeing that big beast swing its huge bucket around that fast!!
Try not to get dizzy inside the cab, Chris! :D
It's all looking great! We are coming up on winter with some rainy down days. How about an update on the scale equipment collection. Would like to see how much you have added.
Would be a nice job for a track loader too! Happy weekend around the globe guys!
Hello friends, nice to meet you from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
You're getting it done there. A lot of earth moved that's for sure. It's going to be nice when it's done. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦

That’s a lot of dirt that’s been moved for one person . Looking good .
You moved a lotta dirt, barn,is looking real good.continue on with what your doing and carry on.👍👍👍😎😎😎

An Efficient One Man operation

When he started popping stumps with it I realized we were dealing with a different animal .
Really like that new hat awesome a solid one with no vent would make it easier great to wear ! Your post are extremely interesting and enjoyable !😊😊😊
Another enjoyable video on this project bro, I have a feeling the 330 is going to be used more than you had planned but time will tell I guess. Safe travels. Ken.
Like your time-lapse sections.
:03 Great shot of the Barium sprayed skies!
Chris, you need one of those clickers the air crew use to count passengers!
More soil relocation. Barney Haul truck has been a great investment for the last 5-6 jobs.
The big machine make easy work with that big bucket
Love the video on Filling Around the Barn .
Good morning everyone I hope you all have good morning ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video...getting the hump taken out....stay safe Chris
We love us some Letsdig18 around these parts of the world.😊
Who says they didn't?

Great job great video thanks Chris
Looking good . Thanks
That is one fine looking deck you have going on there.
Totally enjoyed watching the video CHris 😊
Awesome job Chris my wife once to know if she could do some packing around the shop
Another great job by a great driver

Lots of dirt to move at 330 is handling it nice work
Off-road dump truck paid it’s way today. Grade looking good

Nice work as usual Chris..

Job well done 👍🏻
Seem to be finfing more use for the 330 all the time!!
Are you finding more uses for the new 330 than you initially anticipated?
Great job 👏
Yes time is money Peace out
when is the window tinter coming for the 330???
How much material is it? That Hyundai works smooth. 👌
That looks like a perfect job for an earth mover, Chris, maybe that’ll be your next piece of equipment.
Belly scraper?
He has mentioned before(if i remember correctly) that it would be too big and cumbersome(and expensive to move) for the majority of jobs he does.
Let’s Go !😮
Come to East Texas! I sure could use your expertise!!
looking good buddy.
Hey Chris, Why Don't You Load From The Backside Of The Truck Instead From The Side? Much Easier To See, And Load Just As Much, If Not More!! Thanks Brother!!
I like the side better easier for me to see
Big job 😊
That Hyundai is a 😊 and looking machine
Your excavator operation is poetry in motion
To have a scraper for a day !

Around here on the strip jobs, they put those counter thingies in all the rock trucks so they could keep track of the loads, that's what you need
I am getting a LetsDig18 tattoo but i need help. Should i get the excavator logo or the slick LD from the equipment?

How is your Uncle? Haven’t heard you speak about him in a minute.
How many yards of dirt do you figure is in one BIG load of the haul truck? I miss seeing your uncle. I hope all is well...
Another great video
Over loading the truck effects the actual count of yards moved.
What about a four in one general purpose bucket for the 330 Chris 😊❤
Sorry I had to ask how you got the dent on the dump truck 😊
Put a click counter in machine to keep track of loads a cheap easy way
👍👍👍
Chris I have missed something? Is this project on your farm or a new client? Which ever it seems like a pretty good size project. Always a pleasure...
It's where he did the big tree clearing and pond build when the hurricane hit a couple of months ago.
@martingardener90 thanks Martin not long of getting out of the hospital with left knee shattered, left arm broken in two places, and three broken ribs on left side of course, and a big knot on my head, was T-boned at a traffic light thankfully I had the green light a long recovery time ahead. @@leegoldman7491 Wishing you a speedy recovery Lee.
Hi Chris, Just wondering now you have the BIG bucket can we expect a higher capacity of road dump truck?
This 330 is 11 scoops.
That 550 was 6.
@@redjohnson4859 Was it not 11 for the 220, 7 for the 330 and nearly 3 for the 550?
CHRIS I have a serious question. Why do you operate with the doors and windows open. I hate it when dust and dirt get in my cab and I hate breathing in all that dust while running.
👍👍
Does anyone know why Chris needs to keep a note of yardage moved? Is the cost determined by this?
How many tonnes can that truck handle in a trip? Cheers Andy from NZ.
Chris - How did the top of the Off-Road truck's box get bent?
nice work
THANKS!
Everyday I wait to watch this show don't be cheating me it has to be every day because I'm addicted
Like the new hat
Moving mountains, or at least mole hills.

Hey Chris !!! Outstanding job again !!! 🤔🙃😉👍👍👍👍👍 How many ""FIre ant"" Hills did you dig up & move to higher ground ??? HAHA 🤔

A few more hours on the compactor you'll be ad good as Aaron.
Wondered about when you're on site alone, and you "flip the tractor", where the help comes from in a hurry
Well , the idea is to NOT flip the "tractor" ..........
