Thank you! Spain is definitely a great country to live but be prepared for a lot of paperwork lol

is it safe to walk dogs? heard there a funky caterpillars

At this time of the year I'd be careful as the caterpillars might come out soon. There are plenty of pine trees in this area, but if you go to other areas of the Sierras Subbeticas like Zuheros, we found several hikes without pine trees like the trail to Rio Bailón. We spent months there last year over this period and had no issues hiking with our dog.
