Great stoves I have the partner 22. Bought it from Happy Hamper and Twin Falls Idaho. I'm sure someone else is already said it but they're not made out of steel they're made out of aluminum. The cooking grate is steel The rest is all aluminum. Nothing to rust. Very quality welding work on the box. Definitely an investment to pass along.
Partners are bomb proof with nothing to rust out. When camping I'll leave it out in the rain and snow. 🇺🇸 In 10yrs I have just replaced an O-ring on the propane hose
I like the recessed knobs . Keep a Coleman half stove half grill in my work truck . Always have to check the knobs while I’m hooking up the bottle. Looks like y’all have some of our humidity up . Have a good one
Keep doing what you are doing, you are outstanding! And I heard your wife had a birthday. Wishing her a happy birthday and y’all a happy life. It’s not all about roughing it! Smoothing it regardless of the situation is key. Enjoying camping and glamping. Most people will truck camp more than roughing. It’s more convenient. Especially with grandchildren. Lol
Having owned Coleman gas stoves, back to Boy Scout days, and continuing up until a couple of years ago when I finally splurged on a Partner Steel stove. It may be considered to be expensive compared to other brands, but it is exceptional for its build quality and convenience. And super easy to clean.
Looks like Dave is having fun with his new toys. Common man it is not. Mostly toys. Some of the common man stuff is on the expensive side, but now we are just in the realm of just play things in this series.
One thing Ive added to my survival kit is my own body fat. Been fasting for 72 hours off and on to condition myself to get fat adapted. Ive done a 7 day fast with 2 hour walks and it felt amazing.
👍👍 Pretty cool dude! Powdered cheddar cheese?! Man definitely gonna get some of that. Car camping is a bit tricky for refrigeration me being in a sports car so that would be great. The eggs too. 😎👍
For oiling my pans between outings, I like to use a high-smokepoint vegetable oil in place of olive oil. My go-to is grapeseed oil. It can't go rancid like olive oil occasionally does, and it's a bit cheaper (or it is in my local grocery stores, anyway) than most good quality olive oils. It's also the best thing you can possibly use for seasoning a new stainless or cast iron skillet. Give it a try; you might like it.
@dave Love it I will try the recipe. Hey ever thought about integrating a small Dutch oven into the cooking system ? Allot of benefit in having one for use on the stove or being able to use any natural fuel . A No.8 Dutch oven would be a good size .
Honestly I feel I could watch you do just about anything haha! I've been hammering down on your rope school videos as well These stoves are super easy to clean, btw!
Love all your videos brother. Very knowledgeable. Much love and respect to you and your family. How are yall making since the house fire? If you don't mind me asking
Dave, I hate those lighters too. Try having your Ferrocerium rod and carbon striker and just throw sparks on the propane as it comes out the burner. That starts it great.
pretty sure the windscreen wire goes through the hole in the windscreen to hold it in place. otherwise it would take much breeze to blow that back panel over. of course, you were probably just speeding things up for the video but thought i would point it out.
Hey Dave, Great video, nice stove. I really thought you would have opted for a 2 burner Coleman dual fuel vs propane. I know what you get for burn time with the propane, but the dual fuel will use white gas( Coleman camping gas) or gasoline. Everyone I 4 wheel with Carrie’s extra fuel for the vehicle. Same like and kind of fuel for 2 items, and not having to carry a propane tank. Just my thoughts. Great video.
I really like the durability of this newer built stove,I own the Coleman stove, but this seem to be built really superior to Coleman. Nice investment. Partner stove I'll have to check them out.
While I can appreciate dried ingredients are great for keeping in a car camp kit... there is nothing like fresh.. If I'm out for a day or two... I make up some Ziplock omelette mix.. (Couple of eggs each, some grated cheese, ham or bacon all mixed to a small ziplock bag).. I keep several in a tupperware box in my pack or car fridge if I'm driving and not hiking.. Once you want to eat you just drop the whole bag in boiling water and wait till it's cooked..
Try cleaning your cast iron with salt. You pour a little salt into a cool pan and wipe it around with a paper towel. It will get all the stuck bits off and then rinse it. Heat it in the fire to dry.
I checked out powered whole eggs and it said refrigerate after opening. I figured you wouldn’t have to do that, might as well bring unwashed eggs. No refrigeration needed.
Ahhh, one of American things keeping eggs refrigerated. Well, as much I see the convenience of dried food for weight saving there is nothing like a real breakfast with real food. But I guess you guys over there will not understand. 🙄
lets say for a second that you were trying to make money selling stuff. who cares. is this not the land of opportunity? where anyone can do anything they want to make a living. and not for nothing but if you turn me on to a product that makes my camp site a bit more like home then hell yea you deserve a little something for the effort.

I'll turn 60 this year. I want to be Dave when I grow up.

Major General of 9x9 canvas tarp, small pot, knife, survival expert, now showing us a outstanding truck camp build out.
I’m really enjoying this series. That stove is next on the list for my build.
On my way for breakfast...bringing coffee and pastry. Thanks, nice video.
That stove looks like industrial tooling, love to see gear that's made to last
Always nice to see what's out there. Thanks Dave.
Double thumbs up for the can of dip. 👍👍

I should have waited to answer that question.

Brings back memories of the mess hall at RAF Bentwaters 40 yrs ago .the cook would make omelets with powdered eggs and cheese they were delicious.!
I've had a 4 burner Partner Stove for years. It is made out of aluminum and I suspect yours is aluminum also. They are awesome.
Dave Cannaberry to I love what you do you’re an awesome man God bless. My name is Terry Schleeter.
Outstanding. I'm liking that stove...................... 👍👍

Harrold approves .Looks Good out there man .and the food
Great video brother 👍🇺🇸
Dang.... I'd like to have one of those stoves one day
I keep powdered eggs and bacon bits in my truck. I make scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast or dinner every so often. Same with pancakes.
I also buy 2lb bags of dried onions and bell peppers on Amazon. They add flavor to the eggs.

Love it, simple and it works!
Man that thing does look heavy duty.

Haha you don’t need to justify a new stove to me! I know you’re a stovie. Sweet looking unit btw.

Great video.
Love it, very useful
Dinner at yours then lol , you are looking well mate
Have you ever considered carrying Willy Whitefeather’s children survival books on your site? I highly recommend them.
excellent thanks for sharing
You plan on doing any auxiliary lights on the rig?
Check out power tank for c02 and propane. Great company made in USA. Just finished the install on my gladiator.
I really like the durability of this newer built stove,I own the Coleman stove, but this seem to be built really superior to Coleman. Nice investment. Partner stove I'll have to check them out.
Nice
Thx for the vid

Great video but I would have started with the coffee. :-)
How does it simmer? Can it cook with cast iron to make eggs, and slow cook a little? Large corn boil?
You must check out Tire Tables.
I own 2 and am a huge fan!
Already have one but the Tailgate is more convenient in a hurry
Do those posts go into the holes in the corner of the windscreen?
I was looking at this one and the camp chef mountaineer. Any thoughts or experience?
Beautiful, however it needs 2 piezo-electric igniters to be perfect.
Perhaps in Version 2.0?
SWEEET CITY..!!!

Where does one get dry whole eggs?
thanks
Haha I just made hungry man mash potatoes this morning lol
Sexy stove. I guess in a real emergency you use the grate over a fire or charcoal aswell
How much like eggs do the dryer eggs taste
Stove is made of aluminum not steel, according to their website.
Fyi
is this the 22 or the 18 inch? do you know where I can buy one Thanks
Only thing your missing is Tabasco
What size is this stove?
Grizzly not included.
👍
Man ole man
Dave is your stove model listed as an 18 or 22?
18
Anybody know what the tattoo is on his neck? I cant tell.
I have had 2 coleman duel fuel stoves that burnt up on me on the last 5 years.
I checked out powered whole eggs and it said refrigerate after opening. I figured you wouldn’t have to do that, might as well bring unwashed eggs. No refrigeration needed.
Wow nice stove but you need a second mortgage to own one 400 bucks is out of my reach
What the fuck is this water dispenser? I seen it looked like a 5 gallon Jerry can with a pump/sprayer on his walleye video
🤤
Well that is definitely not a common man stove ..
Eeeeww , to the food unless there was an apocalypse. I'd be rather hunt and forage for healthier food. 😒 However, enjoyed everything else.
