212 is just silly. It's an attempt to throw a bone to the fans who object to the lack of aesthetics and the large waistlines of today. The correct thing to do is take away points and make proper adjustments for the winner, instead of creating another division and allowing the freak show to continue. It's beyond me why fans continue buy tickets to see bodybuilders who have a plopped on look. BTW, Priest had great arms, but I think Lee Labrada and Shawn Ray looked much better.
I remember he posted a photo of his mother a while back , she was ripped and had forearms like Bruce Lee - in her 50’s !! He def hit the genetic jackpot

No one ever did more with less than stellar genetics, than Lee Priest. He had a narrow shoulder structure, long torso, short legs. That narrow shoulder structure hurt his ability to truly build alien lats, or a huge chest. But literally everything he could build to perfection he did.
Lee was the best , Jay knows it. His arms spoke for themselves. Anyone with arms like that can easily use that strength to chisel the rest of his body to perfection. Why he never got the Trophy 🏆 ? Height Discrimination!🤓

Lee Priest with out doubt as Jay Cutler put was one of the most freaky bodybuilders of all time Lee as a young man was huge freaky and yes with a great chest. Compared to other bodybuilding greats who were unrecognisable at the beginning of their careers like Nick Walker and other skinny boys that claimed true genetics were on their side Lee was absolutely unbelievable from day dot. I was fortunate enough to train in the same gym in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 as him and let me tell you he was a sight to behold. Pound for pound I agree with Jay Cutler he is up there with some of 🐐 Goat.

They HAD to ban Priest in order insure that their big marketing plans for Coleman could [would] run its course. No sport is free of this type of manipulation which is ALWAYS accompanied by smear campaigns / and or whatever. Priest was in his own class. Had he been the height of Coleman he would have made Coleman look like a girl.
At his best Priest had a physique that matched up to anybody. Sure Ronnie had a much bigger frame but Lee carried as much muscle proportionately with better aesthetics.
At no point was Lee Priest 260 lbs. His heaviest competition weight was 205 lbs. Lee looked great but his pecs were not fantastic. Which is usually a kiss of death. He did look great though. 99.9% of dudes wish they could achieve his look.

Lee has always been my favorite, I have learned so much from him through the years, his no nonsense straight forward tips have helped me tremendously, I’m not a body builder but an avid lifter .
