  • This video is the eleventh in a series of IBM SPSS Statistics tutorials that will help you learn how to use SPSS statistics for statistical data analysis in just a few short hours.
    In this video, we introduce the independent samples proportions (Z) test (available in later versions of IBM SPSS) for comparing proportions between two groups defined by some categorical variables in your data. We draw comparisons to how the independent samples proportions test can be used to isolate comparisons from within a chi-square test's contingency table in the same way that the independent samples t test can be used to isolate comparisons of means within an ANOVA.
