Being willing to walk away empty handed is a sign of wisdom. Know yourself and your situation. Thanks for sharing

Just found your channel. First time watching. OMG is that a HUGE auction! I would love to go to a sale like that! If you are thinking about a 6620, you should definitely been in on that one. It looked good, and that was dirt cheap. And the 6620's were good combines. There were some really nice 7000 JD planters there too. That four row was really nice. That one New Holland square baler you stopped at for a bit was nice. Don't be afraid of a New Holland square baler. Probably better than the Deere. There were some nice older International tractors there that probably went dirt cheap judging by what the stuff sold while you were there. That newer Case Magnum that sold for $48K was definitely a big steal! Which part of the country are you in?

@shaffershomestead ok.. just curious because you don't see sidehill combines very often. I didn't realize you have that type of farm ground in PA.

Some locations are worse than others , not to bad on the farm here however there is 1-2 locations here that it wouldn’t hurt to have the sidehill

Those bailers you looked at seemed in poor condition. I used to have a 336 and would not buy one again. Why did you not look at the NH bailers?

I guess I didn’t really look at the NH because I have one now and all it’s been for me is problems

@shaffershomestead good that you did not bid on the JD ones, they did not look very promising. Better to spend some more money to save money in the end and have no break downs.

Stay away from the twine balers and buy a wire tie baler. The wire tie balers are easier to work on and have less moving parts than a twine tie.

I agree and if ypu ever plan to bale a bunch of straw make it wire tie! Mice are a bitch on straw

That baler that sat out side looks hardly used I would just throw diesel all over it and wipe it down

I probably could’ve taken a chance with it but probably for the better
