P.S I'm not even including the times where passengers would cry because their flight was delayed or canceled due to bad weather where any airlines does not have any fcking control.
The whole story of New world still makes me chuckle sometimes. While sure, there should have been something in place for the game's menu to not just max up FPS. That was a huge fault on Nvidia's part for not having some kind of Limiter, cap, Failsafe etc to stop the cards from working so hard they'd literally destroy themselves
I feel bad for both parties in these situations. I understand the frustration of your PC breaking down on you, as components can be quite expensive and repairs can take time (even worse when warranty has expired), but sometimes it's nobody's fault. Hardware can come out of the factory with issues that only trigger under certain conditions you were simply unlucky to end up with such an example. Besides, a reputable store has no interest in selling broken components because it hurts their image, and I'm pretty sure people who make a living selling and repairing PCs can empathize with these situations. Plus the stress of thinking they might have done something wrong, when it wasn't actually their fault. The important thing is to remain calm and avoid pointing fingers without concrete proof.

Currently working at an Airlines that probably is popular with americans, but the amount of people who would contact to our chat support and request to personally call them using my personal phone and get furious when I say that I do not have a process for that is ungodly plenty and before anyone would say "well why don't contact them?" well because the reason is firstly it's not in my job description to call anyone and second most important is that I'm not even working domestically in US.
I was about to say "Ungrateful" But knowing that he apologized means he's a good person
It's crazy how long an RMA takes for a replacement card. Loaner cards should bear requirement for the manufacturer to provide in the meantime
Dude, you went above and beyond. It’s cool you let him use a loaner!
A lot of places wouldn’t give a loaner card… that’s great service
Almost a exact replica of my current setup. I can vouch for it being a great budget build.
How is no one talking about how that cpu is chilling in the socket like... half way out on the one side???
In June, I plan to build a PC with similar specs to this one. The CPU and GPU are the same that I plan on using, but the RAM, motherboard and (maybe) the SSD are all different. Nice customer service, by the way.
I'd recommend you get a cheaper cpu and motherboard and spend that money on something like 3060ti if you can get one for a good price as there like 70% as good as a 2060
@@vrboi6920 Sorry if this makes me seem a bit stubborn. I'm getting a $170 motherboard with all the bells and whistles I need, and I have found some nice deals on some RTX 3070 GPUs (I found them just a few hours ago), but since I am building it in June, I will have to see if I have enough money to buy one, otherwise I will be sure to consider your suggestions. So, what are your suggestions? Thanks for the advice.
It doesn't really make you sound stubborn as you said yourself that it has what you need my main concern was the original gpu but you found a 3070 which is really good. All I'd say is get higher frequency ram e.g. 3200mhz to 3600mhz as ryzen loves fast memory but only if you have the leftover budget as its only a small difference.
@@vrboi6920 I will be getting 16 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz CL 16 dual channel RAM.
@LyingOstrich Then that's perfect and your pc is hopefully going to be really good.
Who noticed thermal paste is missing
good story, but something I noticed is they put the cpu cooler on with no thermal paste, also I'm pretty sure they didn't remove the protective label on the copper plate, sorry for pointing that out.
there isnt a lable on stock coolers and do you really think a preofessional is that stupid?
Funny part is during the initial alpha when the 30 series came out. i wrote a longggg forum post on the new world alpha forums and spent hours each day for the first week telling people how to safely run the game. AGS hid every post i made and hid the post i made telling them about the problem with gpu's and why they are overheating and popping. They did not even mention this issue publicly on release until jaystwocents made a video
Nobody mention he use second ram slot from cpu?
btw was not New World bricking GPUs, it was use of cheap mats on some nvidia GPUs
I own the same motherboard (micro ATX) with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core (with some oldskool Arctic Silver 5 grease), 32GB RAM, an MSI RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 2X and a 700W oldskool Antec PSU in a sleeper case (HP Prodesk 400 G3 micro tower). The case weights 4 times more and lays down flat. There is no more room in the HP case.
Gaming on 4K @ 60Hz is dope.
Gaming on 1080P @ 120Hz is also dope.
(on a 65 inch TV in my living room).
The CPU and GPU stay cool @ full load.
Max. temp CPU on hot days = 67°C
Max. temp GPU on hot days = 73°C
I'm happy with my pc 👍
I built this pc 3 years ago.
Thats why I always chek the game before downloading it not taking any risk
I remember when Dirt Shodown caused my Windows to go Blue Screen. I had to format
Good video, great service.
But you should never put any components on the outside of an antistatic bag. Static is directed to the surface of the outside of the bag. Could cause issues.
0:22 I sincerely hope that fan has pre-applied thermal paste.
They always do
@@k2ngcorn They dont, usually AIO's come with them and it doesnt seem like that fan had a plastic cover on the contact side of it so it doesnt seem they added thermal paste
@@Asterisk-hj4lx I was talking about the stock AMD cooler, not an aio.
@@k2ngcorn I still dont see the plastic on there and bro took it out of the box thermal paste side down so
@@Asterisk-hj4lx dude have you ever used a stock cooler? They’re literally thrown in there with the paste on.
Dude do not put the motherboard on the anti static bag. Most likely won't do anything but the whole point of those bags is to gather any static on the outside and stopping it get to the board. By putting the board on the bag you could be introducing it to static built up on the bag.
Good on you for having amazing customer service. That's always your most valuable asset and will pay off more than anything else you could possibly invest in.
Uhhh is the CPU supposed to sit like that? Why is it not flushed can still kinda see the pins
That's service right there and a lifelong customer
Literally the build with the cpu gpu and mobo I’m going for😊
Dk oldies would learn alot from this guy 👌
Yea a guy getting mad because his expensive thing breaks because he was using it how it's supposed to work is 100% crazy
If a custom build PC you make is no POST then having to deal with the return is not 'Crazy' it's just what you do. The loaner card was good service.
As someone who’s frustration comes at times it seems the person thinks it’s directed at them when it’s not. This person might’ve been upset that THEY sent you a faulty one, and then you put it in. It’s not your fault, he could be upset at them for wasting his (and your time) installing it, just to have to get a new one. One that stops him from playing the game he got it for
Sometime ya just need to let the customer vent. You'd be surprised how nice and understanding some folk are once they had their word in.
Personally, I gave up on desktop systems for gaming laptops. Even though their are not as powerful, they are sufficient enough for gaming
The fact that this guy is so nice and almost all of his customers are very rude😢
No that's just the ones he makes videos about.
Really surprised if the PC you built in this video even posted, the CPU was not mounted properly, I can see the pins still from the side...
Above and beyond, this is why you support your local stores and not big box stores.
Some people just get mad with any kind of inconvenience and just all sense and reason goes out the window
Great customer service man.
I just want to say good job, I had issues with my first bought GPU ever - 3070 from ASUS, the first one was a horror story (1 year) I had to travel to the PC store and bring the PC, because where I live it is around 200 km from my city (where I live I don't trust sending such expensive items). Had to travel more than 6 or 7 times and every time they were returning the PC saying it works with them while at home I was getting artifacts, driver crashes, no forum or online assistance helped, the card was even sent to an official repair store of Asus, they returned it a month later and didn't work again :). After 1 year of frustration, I just paid extra so they can sell me a new one (that happened whenever the 30 series came out and the prices started going up)
I might need to try and go with nvidia after seeing this pair. I have the 5600x but with the 5700xt
povo sem carater, ficou bravinho por motivos dele e ainda tem a audacia de falar q eles venderam um gpu mal kkkkkkkkkk e de fude mesmo neh, o atendente esta de parabens, muito bom a atitude dele. hats off to you sir..
I bet you feel like giving up on computer, s some times, but then again this is Why your getting loads of customer, s because ur service is just too good, ur a great guy, wish you all the best
Maybe it was cut out but, him not applying thermal paste before slapping on the heatsink set my OCD off.
I've worked in sales before and some customers get very annoyed but then after a while chill out. I've done that tho when I was getting my Xbox fixed they said it would cost £100 for somthing I thought would be cheap so I can understand why they get annoyed it's never nice when stuff doesn't work out
That is such great customer service. I wish we had something like this in India. We dont even get the GPUs at the market price.
Good on you man, that's how make yourself known amongst among potential clients...
Anger makes people do things they wouldn't
My man. What a guy. A real bros bro
Loaner Card, Great move and would make a customer come back, even show some loyalty.
For anyone that is still talking about games breaking cards, it has been confirmed by the manufacturers that it was a hardware issue. And it just happened with Diablo4 beta and gigabyte cards again. Games cannot break your system. PERIOD. The cards needs to have a defect in the first place to brick with what is basically a stresstest.
Idk how someone could get mad and blame you guys after a year of it working
as a pc shop owner u have to understand where hes coming from lmao?? he spent alot of money on a gpu and it got fked ofc he gon be mad
Tbh I don't blame him if he's upset, having a very very very expensive gpu to break is honestly painful .
