Sometimes people get mad because they just don't understand the system.
I was about to say "Ungrateful" But knowing that he apologized means he's a good person
Bro was building almost the same computer I have in the video hahahaha
It's crazy how long an RMA takes for a replacement card. Loaner cards should bear requirement for the manufacturer to provide in the meantime
In June, I plan to build a PC with similar specs to this one. The CPU and GPU are the same that I plan on using, but the RAM, motherboard and (maybe) the SSD are all different. Nice customer service, by the way.
I'd recommend you get a cheaper cpu and motherboard and spend that money on something like 3060ti if you can get one for a good price as there like 70% as good as a 2060
@@vrboi6920 Sorry if this makes me seem a bit stubborn. I'm getting a $170 motherboard with all the bells and whistles I need, and I have found some nice deals on some RTX 3070 GPUs (I found them just a few hours ago), but since I am building it in June, I will have to see if I have enough money to buy one, otherwise I will be sure to consider your suggestions. So, what are your suggestions? Thanks for the advice.
It doesn't really make you sound stubborn as you said yourself that it has what you need my main concern was the original gpu but you found a 3070 which is really good. All I'd say is get higher frequency ram e.g. 3200mhz to 3600mhz as ryzen loves fast memory but only if you have the leftover budget as its only a small difference.
@@vrboi6920 I will be getting 16 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz CL 16 dual channel RAM.
@LyingOstrich Then that's perfect and your pc is hopefully going to be really good.
The fact that this guy is so nice and almost all of his customers are very rude😢
No that's just the ones he makes videos about.
good customer service can realize when the customer is just stressed from a situation and ends up making the happy in them end anyways. gj
That’s what I would call Technology addiction.
I kinda knew why he was mad but respect for you for helping him get a new one for free. Most of people would just say "yeah, its broken. Buy a new one"
Who noticed thermal paste is missing
You just built my pc 😂
Imagine making a game which can brick the most crucial part of a PC
Can’t blame him shit isn’t cheap specially when you even say expensive from the start but at least he was understanding at the end
For anyone that is still talking about games breaking cards, it has been confirmed by the manufacturers that it was a hardware issue. And it just happened with Diablo4 beta and gigabyte cards again. Games cannot break your system. PERIOD. The cards needs to have a defect in the first place to brick with what is basically a stresstest.
People tend to act irrationally when they are angry and or upset. It's our job not to judge them at their lowest.
2 of my EVGA 3080 fans just broke after Diablo 4 (which some people's 3080s/TI's were completely frying in the game for some unknown reason during cutscenes) and I get the guys frustration.
Having anything break on you that you had no control over and are forced to be out of a card for a week or 2 (or 3) is annoying as hell...but at least you gave him a loaner which definitely is great customer service.
As someone who’s frustration comes at times it seems the person thinks it’s directed at them when it’s not. This person might’ve been upset that THEY sent you a faulty one, and then you put it in. It’s not your fault, he could be upset at them for wasting his (and your time) installing it, just to have to get a new one. One that stops him from playing the game he got it for
wasn't really nice of him. an apology was the bare minimum
Funny part is during the initial alpha when the 30 series came out. i wrote a longggg forum post on the new world alpha forums and spent hours each day for the first week telling people how to safely run the game. AGS hid every post i made and hid the post i made telling them about the problem with gpu's and why they are overheating and popping. They did not even mention this issue publicly on release until jaystwocents made a video
that's how you earn long time customers
Good on you for having amazing customer service. That's always your most valuable asset and will pay off more than anything else you could possibly invest in.
I love how the video shows the CPU cooler going straight from the box, no removal of the plastic from the bottom of it over the TIM, and then it gets put right on the CPU. I hope no one watches this and does the exact same thing, and it screws up their PC.
