MOST don't even realize that Juan Gabriel was the equivalent of an ELVIS, Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Prince rolled into one person🤯 Very impressive. I live 30 minutes from Cd Juarez Mexico where he grew up and lived and began singing and he's still alive at every turn and street. His music and legacy rules there
This is the original official video of the song. This was the radio version back then. In his concerts, Juan Gabriel liked to change and improvise a lot. He was the creator of his songs. He could do whatever he wanted and felt and it all looked and sounded good. He was a genius composer.
I remember when the song and video came out, "Querida" was an instant hit like everything Juan Gabriel did. Whenever he came to my city Hermosillo, his concerts were sold out, also in the 70's he wrote a song for my city and it was one of his first musical hits; one of my biggest regrets is never having been able to have time to go to one of his concerts or those of Rocio Durcal when they came. I love your reactions, a big hug habibi, from Sonora, Mexico.
The fact that he is a writer, composer… when he sung live all the songs are riffing because they are a little different from the studio version. And because he is the writer he can do anything with the song. He has written for so many artist
This song came out back when artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Queen, Van Halen, and Prince were at the top of the world. And it still blew everyone’s minds back then. The same year Soda Stereo released their first album. I remember being a kid and stuck at the TV screen mesmerized by all those artists. If you want to know how good is something, don’t look for the audience; look how the children react.
"I don't know if you knew that every song he sang was his own composition; he never sang songs by other people. This man was a prodigy, and it's a pity that he left us relatively young and out of time-he was a glory of the world. I love him; he is my favorite songwriter."
Yes…there’s no comparison from the music these days. You felt the music…chills all over your body…you felt the vibe their love and passion for music. Very few artist these days that actually give talent.
Gracias. Una venezolana en Canadá.
I remember when I was 8 yrs old , I'm 62 now😊. my parents took me to a theater call Million Dollar Theater in LA. California remember, how I fell in love with he's music 🎶❤. I still admire him ,I am very proud to be Mexican American from Vegas 🙏.
When I was a child, I started to like his songs. I still remember that “Corazón de Piedra” by Lucia Mendez was top hit; however, Juan Gabriel’s “Querida” revolutionize not only in Mexico, but also Latin America countries, Spain and the United States.
Boudyyyy!, I knew this 3/5 video “”HOY TODOS MIS DIAS”” would be blocked by RUclips so in that respect I’m leaving you my appreciation here. Thank you for your time and effort to make the most of my JG’s performances. Sending all my love ♥️♥️
Habibi thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! It really is very very very much appreciated! There was a delay in getting the superthanks notifications so they all popped up now. Love you!
I remember that most of dance clubs at that time in Mexico used to close the dance floor by playing this song and everybody there knew that was time to go home while humming this song on the way out. It was a great wrap-up. Great memories. 😊
Querida which means Beloved in English was and still is one of the most beautiful and romantic song of its time. It was a the background of many courtships.
I love your face when you react to Juan Gabriel. Looks like you really enjoy his performance. I'm from México and sometimes I don't undestand totally what you say but I'm sure I undestand the main idea and agree 100% whit your point of view respect to Juan G. Definetely he "is" (because the music never die) the Best. I had the opportunity and the privilege to enjoy more than once his performances. Master of masters really. Thanks to be honest and very unpartial to him. Good day
i was 11 in puerto rico when this came out. we listened to new wave, rock, menudo and other boy bands, latin american and spanish pop, merengue and salsa. i don’t remember seeing juan gabriel on tv but i loved this song. my friends and i knew the numbers for several radio stations and we’d call them one after the other requesting “querida.” as wonderful a performer as he was, i’ve never found a live version that does justice to this song. the nuances that i so love are only in this one recording. i couldn’t appreciate just why it was so great back then, i just knew that it was. thank you for this reaction and your appreciation for this song!
I used to play these LPs around that time, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Prince’s 1999 and Juan Gabriel’s Querida. Masterpieces all 3 of them, just fantastic music.
This sound came out when I was a young teenager. Let me tell you, nothing is as beautiful as having my first crush as a little kid with music like this playing on the radio…and anxiously awaiting for the song to come up because I had no money to buy the cassette. Beautiful times. I hope today's youth have the chance to have things as beautiful.
I wish I wasn’t a kid when this music came out. Back then I didn’t appreciate this music as I do now. 😢 like damn I missed out big time! Now I can only imagine what it would have been like to be at one of Juan Gabriel’s concert. ♥️
My dear Boudyyy ,,,,, I love all your reactions to my adorable Juan Gabriel. Love watching your smiling face and your body movements throughout his great music as well as your sadness when the video is about his pain and suffering. Anyway your body language is priceless!! Thank you for loving my Divo. Love to all at AMR..♥️♥️♥️ ( I guess I left you a link of JG performance QUERIDA in a live concert in Venezuela bc it’s completely different with lots of improvising).
Walaikom assalam 🥰, this song is amazing, how many time I sing and dance this song while I was cooking 😅 of course I don’t know how to sing so my poor neighbors had to deal with this crazy latina 😂
This songs are from the mid 70's ....I still remember when his album came out in which this song was in one of his first albums, I believe he was a little bit older in this video, when he was singing sitting next to Veronica Castro, that was actually one of her late night shows in Mexico City, she and Juan Gabriel were in a movie together when he was a little bit younger or close during the time he was a guest on her show. Veronica is a very famous soap opera actress and was also in quite a few movies as well.
Hold!!!.... I love your reactions to Grandmaster Juan Gabriel ❤️. There is a request I want you to react . Another song by him, the song is called De mi enamorate. Interpretation by Daniela Romo. Please.😊

My dad passed sway when I was twenty-years- old, by that time I was living in California and wasn’t able to travel to my dad’s funeral. I realized that some things are just unforgettable and have no cure… this is one of them, I can’t listen to this is too much for my heart to handle. I’m forty six- years-old now and still can’t listen to this beautiful song. Many blessings to you and your loved ones 🙏🙏!!
